If you do the visa process yourself. You may end up spending not more than 100k for the business or tourist visa.Agent wud take up to 200k or 180k.Paying 250k is a ripoff.

How did you arrived at 250K? That is $1,256.91 in today's exchange rate. Are you joking?

Like he rightly said, he made an inquiry. It's possible its from an agent

Justwise.,I know you too well, and how you are helpful in the travel section but I also know GoldenDr too well, and he is not an agent as someone accused him of.
He only inquired on her behalf.

Did he say he runs visas? Did he say he is an agent? Is there any where he advertised his number for visa enquiries?

Look before you leap.

Yeah. I have been on nairaland since 2008. I visit this section often and I'm very aware of that.

And the last time I checked, nobody on this thread refered anyone to an agent.

hello guys, i want to travel to India initially to do a vocational training course "heavy duty equipment technician". i love the place because of the cheap tuition and low cost of living. but i am discouraged when i learnt of their weather. how are you guys coping over there? especially with the heat wave stuff. are there some few states affected or its every where? i searched for other Asian countries offering the course and i was only able to get Philippines, but they also have disasters there. don't know which is better to manage. American,Canadian and European schools are way too expensive. any help with info will be appreciated. cc; GoldenDr, husla et al

You would do well with Indian girls in the Southern part of India, like Bangalore. They are more tolerating and civilized than their Northern counterparts. Enjoy your stay in India. As for me, I am never stepping my foot in that country, even if I am offered a million dollar.
Why are you not stepping your foot in the country again?

Bro i lived in india for a year.. well i was basically an angry chic while i was there, fine i enjoyed all the amenities.. but the way their guys gawk over black ladies can be very annoying and oh some parts are very dirty. You need to be smart to deal with auto guys and some shop owners. As for the heat wave, its very hot and what i did was i stayed hydrated all through, got an air cooler, then i also had my water 24hrs on ground before using it to bathe. Dont bother getting too close to indian girls, they can be a pain in the butt, don't eat their food once you land there, get used to the aroma of sharp spices first. if you're running from the heat wave dont go between may and July. By august the rains starts. Have a nice stay at Incredible india grin

What do you mean by gwak? Why should I not go close to an Indian girl?

Sylva, I will like to know more about their hostility and hospitality if they have any.
Have you worked with any of them? They are very good spenders and hostile if you are doing the wrong thing but they have very good work ethic.

Interesting. But if you say they have standard amenities and the likes, why are they in Nigeria forming expatriates and treating Nigerians as slaves in their own country?
Nigerians have a slave mentality already. Read up about the caste system in India.
