Guys please wat is happnin to mtn zone? 4 d past 4 days my mtn zone tarriff plan hve been charging me 12k/sec its really annoying. Even at night when it is supposed to b cheaper to as low as 0.4k/sec. I cnt realy fix what is happening, is mtn zone really dat bad nw dat they nw charge me @ 40k/sec? Pls is it a general prblm or am i the only one isolated by mtn here? Is there another package nw beta than zone for calls on mtn nw? Pls help me o country hard o, i mean too hard for those charges..... Response please.... Network providers staffs on nairaland please let me knw the way forward....

@op, I'm also experiencing same. I guess MTN is trying to discourage subscribers from joining the Zone plan and probably force those already on the plan to other packages.

yea after some persons tweak it to call other networks @ 4k/sec. you expect MTN to be smiling where all the bloggers exposed the trick

But you won't still be making calls for nothing less than 15k per seconds and that is 9 naira per minute. besides, don't forget they charge you these after the very first minutes..... just saying, they ain't worth the sweat cos that is the plan am using on my Etisalat line. cheers bro.

Same here... I already relegated them and switch to Etisalat fo. Now till ytheir head becomes okay again

Mtn true talk + is the best nw for ppl that call a lot especially everyday they deduct 5naira per day and u call at 11kobo/sec to all networks that's 6.6naira/ minute

MTN zone is the same everywhere, 12k is the least you can see. Etisalat Easy life 4.0 is the best. The #5 daily access fees is not compulsory. They charge when you make first call of the day but never charge you if you did not make call at all, your credit remains intact.

You guys are forgetting the sweet part of Etisalat. U get double of ur recharge which lasts for 7 days and still goes for the 11k. And like my brother rightly said, No call, No N5 deduction. But Mtn? N100? Call or no call, its a matter of days b4 they milk u dry to zero naira. If we can all join etisalat in making calls and still keep the mtn for receiving.Imagine how much mtn will loose on the talk zone and restore it. Common brothers, lets give it a try, spread the word. I have 4mtn lines and 2 zone lines. Am not an Etisalat fan, i only brought out my 5th yr etisalat line just for this package.I dont like Etisalat for anything,especially wit the fact that they can never allow us hack them for a magic free browsing sim. But lets do this to get empty hen to wake up and give us back our zone. Are u with me? Let the bloggers spread the word, lets make this trending and go viral with it. The hearing of it alone by mtn will know the repercution and switch us back on. Lets go go go pple.

No true talk plus charges 11k;sec while true talk charges 20k/sec MTN lines and 26k/sec other networks. You giving Opportunity to call 11 numbers @ 11k/sec.

To migrate to true talk+,u enter *123*20# and calls drops to 11k to all network after a daily access fee of 5 Naira.when d jacked up d rate of mtn zone,I bought another mtn line n migrated it to true talk+,while keeping my main line hoping that d price of zone will drop.take it or leave,when it comes to reliability, mtn comes first,so why should I use etisalat?
