Both of you are misleading prospective students, study in Germany is not free, it will cost you at least 2million naira. You need that money before you get a visa.

There are German and US students studying in the UK just as they are British students studying in Germany

@golddust6000, you seem to have a surface idea of the situation in Germany but lack detailed facts and this situation makes you dole out half baked information which are not entirely true. For a fact, Justwise is more informed than you in this matter. The 400 euros monthly thing is false so is the 45 euros monthly for health insurance in a way, its actually almost double the figure if you are under 30, there are English taught Bsc programmes and the cost of living is relative, it depends entirely on the region or state.

Check the link, Justwise posted and get your self fully informed, however, the actual tuition fee is free but comparatively, admission is way more difficult, either for masters or Bsc, the requirements are relatively much more demanding than what is obtainable in the UK but its worth a try.

The bottomline is no tuition fee..I'm not saying UK should do it. Folks without money like u should go to Germany. Imagine u have two relatives...one in Manchester and the other in Munich. Which one will u go to and start a university education with ur flight ticket, money for semester contributions and insurance? Even in Nigeria, we feed and shelter ...so Germany is trying...kudos!

Don't mind the scally watts. I'll rather go to Ethiopia than UK. I don't blame them though. Someone called UK Lagos extension and I wasn't even suprised.

If your entire fee for running the program has been paid for, sure but u need to prove that u can support yourself and ur accompanied dependant.

That is not true, not all, just some.

Yes free tuition fee but you still need to have 8000 euro in blocked account and pay monthly insurance.

Studying in the United Kingdom is a big waste of time and resources, I have a friend who has taken two different masters just to remain there and hoping to get employed but all to no avail. I run a canadian university recruitment centre and virtually all our students are either on the verge of getting their permanent residence or either working full time job and subsequently becoming a PR. Canada is the best country to study, work and eventually reside and it's now easy for those who studied and got employed right there in canada. Your family members can also join you and you can sponsor your parent to become PRs. If you apply to study or run a master's program, your spouse and kids can come along with you, your spouse gets a work permit and your kids are entitled to free education up until they are 18 years. I can go on and on giving the many benefits and reasons why it pays to study in Canada.
