[U beter stay on your job. There are online programs you cn do. Besides now... no one wants to employ a masers holder cuz they cant pay them. I have and know loads of people who are at home after masters. Sticlk to your job if its well paying.. cuz the main reason people do masers in the wend is for a higher pay.quote author=damzy88 post=34758659]Hello everyone, I am a fresh graduate and got my first Job 3 months after Nysc. Since you are still living in the family house and earning 60k I guess the family is also going to sponsor you? I would advise you to not loss this great opportunity! You have free accomadation, free food, free tution and no wify or kids wahala! With age on your side. PLS quickly go and start the master and don't leave that job! It's better to get an extra semeter and bag that Masters degree at your prime. Get a very good rapport with your direct supervisors at work; let him understand you are studying and before you know it, you would be convocating!!! People working under me, once I know you are combining I exempt you from weekend duty! All the best!!! Don't joke with this your 60k 1st job...it would open doors to the Million naira jobs later! 6 Likes 1 Share |

damzy88:It depends on the type of Job you are doing, if it's a prospective job. Also it depends on the country you are planning to go for your masters. If it's UK, pls don't leave your job, but if it's US or Canada. You can go ahead 4 Likes |

Two words for you: Online classes! Register with a university here in the U.S, you stay in Nigeria, complete your classes online and you get your degree. You can work and still achieve your goals. It's a total of 14 classes for a typical master program and each class is about 250,000 Naira. It's a huge financial investment but the rewards far outweighs the cost. Forget about quitting your job and settling for a Nigerian master degree, most Nigerian companies don't value Nigerian masters unless the candidate also has professional certifications. 5 Likes 4 Shares |

damzy88:nice one bruh, Msc at 25 yrs old wont be a regret for u. now here is my advice; from ur reply, u said u work in d HR dept and u want to do ur masters allign to that. well, there. are two types of Msc. academic msc(for those that wants to proceed for PhD) and professional msc(NO PhD). now if ur job is paying very well, i will suggest u go for d professional msc(lectures re mostly weekends since most students there re workers) but for academic msc combined with job, brother in a school like ui, u may not graduate with a useful grade point(Phd grade) and d purpose of an academic msc has been defeated. to me academic msc is for those that wants to be in academic line( i.e lecturer) and not in d field. so go off nairaland, do ur research very well, seek advice from senior colleagues in Human resources and use ur head too. cheers! 3 Likes |
