2. Anyone who has not believed in Christ is under the power of sin, and thus, devil has power over the person.

5. Devil can also have access to the life of one who does the will of God but with permission from God. In this case, the devil will be given restrictions to the life of such a believer. This is a testing period for such a believer.

6. Know that in this world, there is time for everything. Good things and bad things will always come to anyone living on earth, with the bad, not being necessarily the devil's work.

7. God is in control of anything that happens on earth. But to believers, God has promised us 'victory' in every of these bad things.

There we have it as i rightly asserted before. The devil is just god's employee. he is working for god.... So why condemn an employee for doing what he was employed to do and not the employer... You condemn devil for tormenting job but not the main oga that gave the permission (which literally means the main oga is the one tormenting the victim only with the help of his worker (devil)..)

1. Before Adam and Eve sinned against God, did Devil have power over them? The Devil only enticed Eve, but did not force her. When Adam and Eve ate the fruit that God told them not to eat, they sinned against God and became separated from God. It was at this point that the devil gained control over the world.

2. Devil was thrown out of heaven because he sinned against God by being proud, and wanting to take the place of God in heaven. He was created to serve God in heaven.The devil was the first man that sinned against God. This is why anyone who has not been liberated through Christ from the power of sin is under the power of the devil.

6. If you are not an atheist (no insults meant), then refer to Ecc.3:1-15. There is time for everything that happens under heaven -both to believers and to skeptics. Devil is not the architect of all the bad things that happen on earth. Nature, controlled by God, also plays its roles in the lives of both the believers and the skeptics.

Sir, who wrote the Bible? Was it not men? It was written to guide men and the authors never bothered to tell these men the origin of this god (I used small letter because the word is a common noun to me ). That same book has proven countless of times to be an unreliable source of knowledge -- seek Google for answers. Then, why would you choose it as your own source of knowledge?

I believe, you are scared to have a proper discussion with a bible unbeliever, because of the gaps in your knowledge of the universe. You probably have your doubts about your bible, but you just choose to ignore them, with the hopes that they would be answered on that last day. Why would you choose to wait till then? Aren't you inquisitive enough to seek answers now? Must you base all your arguments on a book? Can't you make a proper discussion/argument outside this book?

You shouldn't need faith to believe in god. If he exists, he has any of the five senses of man, to manifest himself. We don't need to physically see the wind before you know it exist, because we can feel it. The same argument holds for our heart, which we can not see, but feel and hear. I would end by saying: a non-existent god is one who needs his follower's faith to believe him.

So devil now is a man. Besides if everyone who sins is under the power of the devil, then under whose power was the devil under? If none, then it makes no sense of God to let us under the power of any when we sin.



If Jesus has rescued the earth why does evil still persist? Simple. He never really rescued the earth.



That has always been the trick, postponing the day of reward to the future that never comes.

@op, god and the devil are two sides of a coin. One can't function without the other. Take the story of Job for example, they both polled their strengths together to make his life a living hell. This is exactly how it is played out on a regular. Without the devil how would the churches flourish? How would those tithes stack up? How would those private jets become airborne? Of course god needs the devil to play the fall guy,8the bahdt guy even though we all know god is the real evil mastermind (Isaiah 45-7) so the mentally enslaved can remain whipped into line. After all said and done,they both retire to their haven,high five each other,laugh heartily over a few drinks of the holy spirit of course and discuss the day's activities...sigh this has got to be the best tag team in history of mankind.
