My honest opinion is that you should try the PR route (except of course you have lots and lots of money). How many years experience do you have? Are you hospital, community or industrial pharmacist? Pharmacy is currently on the CSOL list of about 3 states and God willing it remains so after July 1. However if you are considering PR, then you should move fast!! Starting with assessment of your qualifications What if I do masters of pharmacy |

The cost of a masters in pharmacy is EXTREMELY expensive...ranges between 70k to almost 100k depending on the university....can u afford that?

|

^^^^ The early darkness is because of winter. Shorter days and longer nights. Winter solstice. 1 Like |

ugsams: @ernestudezi, I definitely hope the shorter days are because of the 'winter'(as we no gree see snow, abi na harmattan ni? ). 12.the tap water is hardwater, which is actually good for you,but bad for your bar soap and kettles...liquid soap is the way. 2 Likes |

dexterinc2003: Yes the shorter nights and longer days are characteristic of winter in Sydney. It doesn't snow in Sydney in winter so you wont see any if you are expecting to. However it does snow in Blue Mountains which is about 90mins - 2hrs from Sydney...If you are interested in seeing it 1 Like |

omooba2015:. Hello Omooba. Have you thought of doing your MBA in Nigeria and applying with that via the PR route instead of the Student route? You already have 8yrs of working experience. I applied with my HND and MBA and I got a positive assessment from Vetassess, even when someone in the forum opined that I cant get a positive assessment without a BSc. Lo and Behold my MBA was assessed to be comparable to the educational level of an AQF Master degree. My MBA is from a private university in Nigeria. My 2cent though. |
Re: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Nobody: 2:58pm On Jun 14, 2015 |
Jetspeed:So ur assessment has come in positive and this is d way to tell us? Anyway, I think Omoba should consider going for an MBA here...National Open University is there...after two years he gets his stuff. I think he won't get migration points from work experience. But is it still hard to get done with ICAN or its likes? Folks shouldn't be rushing in with student visas when you know funding will eventually become an issue...that shiiit ain't funny...I tell ya. I removed myself from it last year and I'm gonna b using my M.Sc to get an equivalence soon. |

I ferdimako:Fedemeko, while I partially agree with your point, nevertheless , going via student route is not bad rather than waiting in Nigeria idle. Everyone should asses his or herself whether he or she is eligible for PR at the present time or student route. No doubt PR is the best due to financial obligation of student visa. Just that guys do survive here and I havent see anyone being deported for non payment of the tuition fee. I am not in support of coming to Australia through student route without enough fund but people survive here. Nothing is rosy in life but it is better to have adequate fund before embarking on the journey . In addition, rather than waiting for decade while the individual knows he or she is not ripe for PR, it is better to enter via student route. Someone who is inside the Australia have better chances than the one outside Australia waiting . All in all, everyone should weigh his or her option, nothing bad in student if you know it will take a while to qualify for PR. Infact, skill list can change and you can get hit. surveyor1: U r absolutely right; I don't see why people would just come online and give out demotivating advice to people who want to migrate in order to make their lives better; any hardworking person will find it absolutely easy to survive in australia whether tuition fee or whatever, if he or she knows what ðεƔ are doing. 5 Likes |
