.The deputy speaker is not a force to be reckon with in the house of representative. If lasun couldn't sponsor a single bill in four years, then i think he should do the honorable thing by resigning as the deputy speaker of the Federal house of representative. I believe that Gbajabiamila was a better candidate than dogara as speaker of house of representative.Any time,i watch gbajabiamila speaks on the floor of the house, i am always very excited, because he adds immense intellects and History to any motion or bill being discussed. 59 Likes 2 Shares |

Imagine none of the lawmakers from Gombe sponsored any bill, yet they fed fat on the country's lean purse. Is there a way we can demand a refund from these bunch of unproductive bench warmers ? 94 Likes 3 Shares |

Disappointing... This is happening at a time when Nigeria is in dire need of bills related to Technology Development, Healthcare, Labour, Employment and Social Welfare, Justice and Security, Industry specific policies, Anti-corruption policies etc Do not forget that these lawmakers have offices fully furnished and equipped by the house of assembly with workers fully paid for, for research and policy formulation purposes, which can be used to understudy policies and laws which are contributing to nation development in other nations and adopt them to work for our own society Really disappointing 15 Likes |

There is nowhere in Nigeria constitution where it is stated that a lawmaker must sponsor a bill. Besides, sponsoring a bill doesn't translate to efficiency. 7 Likes |

Again this is the reason fighting over these politicians is senseless. People actually die over these guys.. literally. Yet they go there to do nothing!! No interest whatsoever of the citizens at heart. I pray for Nigeria 5 Likes 1 Share |

And to believe that our news media always address those .....ls as high ranking memebers of the house is suprising. My question is; what makes them high ranking members? Is the number of worthless years they spent in the house without contrbuting anything meaningless not to talk of meaningful. Those names up there are the REAL parasites we have in Nigeria and they're the reason Nigeria is not moving forward. A country where a Senator will afraid to come out openly to comment on the issues affecting the Senate is nothing but a Zoo,,,,Animal Farm! 8 Likes |

When they release that of senate Ngige name will definitely be number 1. and i think that their ranking should be on number of bills sponsored and not number of times one is re-elected. |

OBSERVATION! It takes brains to compile , sponsor and campaign for your bill to pass the rigours of lawmaking. Not to be a tribal bigot but the bulk of members without sponsored bills seem to be from the North. Educationally less developed? 16 Likes |
