Igbasonproff1: Thats exactly what radiography is though not limited to that. Besides 240 is not entirely too poor. Very high PTUME might boost you up. You might just be lucky |

My strong advice to any recent medical graduate in Nigeria is:Give ur self 2 to 3 years post graduation. Complete your internship and youth service. And then leave Nigeria..... Take PLAB, EFMG, USMLE, australia or canadian board etc and leave o! A word is enough for the wise... |

Igbasonproff1:That score isn't poor. I got into UNIBEN medical school with 243 in JAMB and many more got in with even lower scores, although, I don't know how it works in UNN (the calculations and all). Nevertheless, I think a very good score in the post ume can get yo MBBS WITH 240 |

Eferho: My brother, unless it is your passion to study medicine, and not as a result of societal rating, money or parental wish, il advise you liaise with people who work in labs and medical research centers. There you will shine as thats where you were trained. Believe me. |

STORM2:pls my dear my niece had a 2.2 in biochemistry, 2.53 is it possible for her to get direct entry, pls what's d cgp dey need for med, tnx nd she recently took dis years ume nd got 213 for uniport medicine, is dere hope, tnx again |
Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by Goodyshoes(m): 10:19am On Jun 15, 2015 |
MrsAnyanwu:That score is good for uniport considering that jamb performance keeps dwindling yearly. However, uniport usually combines scores of both post ume and jamb and gets the average. Hence she'd need to get a very high score in the post ume. |

Re: The medical students and aspirants thread by Goodyshoes(m): 10:29am On Jun 15, 2015 |
Adrielbradshaw:Firstly, it's advice able to address the cause of yhur depression, as yhu called it, and those personal problems. It's thereafter that yhu wouldn't see it as challenging. Now, as for the course to study, it's good yhu follow yhur passion and what yhu feel yhu would derive satisfaction from. From what yhu say, it seems yhu are somewhat 'medically inclined', I say this cuz of yhur choice of anatomy and dietics. However, if yhu want to study medicine. It's cool cuz if yhu work hard and smart, yhu would get access to several scholarships as a medical student and hence make school not too worrisome. Just take your time and reflect deeply and choose the path yhu want. Cheers. |
