Those day in school I have this female friend , she is core catholic from a catholic family. We all attended catholic student fellowship together when we where in school. Last sunday, as I was driving pass, I saw her coming of from an Anglican church. I stopped and called her and we exchanged pleasantries. So, i ask her if she now attends anglican; and she said yes, that she got married to an anglican man. She went on to say that , a woman have no church until she marry. That love can lead a woman to any church or to any religion.

They can decide to go to their different churches.
Or Choose to go to one church.

My mum went to deeper life on sunday while dad went to Anglican.

I almost had a heated argument with a friend one day about that phrase "a woman has no church until... then I had to ask some other friends of mine and confirmed that.

To me, it's kinda ridiculous because it is by choice. When couples gets married, they can decide whether which church they want to belong to, be it the woman's or the man's.

There's one thing you have understand about marriage in Nigeria. Some people call it women bashing when I say it but that's just the truth.

Parents don't give out their dangote's hand in marriage, they sale them out and you can't tell a man what he should do with or how he should handle what he purchased with his money.
