Hi please how do I view available interview dates? I have logged in to the CGI website, is it that "the first available appointment is Tuesday 23 June 2015" on the left hand side of the page? Also how do you guys present evidence of sufficient home-tie? Or rather is there anything like that? |

buzibiza: Use the latest statement. If you use an old statement it is simple for the VO to work out that you are hiding something. They will check and if they see figures that do not match with what you have told them it can be a ban. They have ways of checking bank accounts, do not believe that everything is confidential! |
Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 7 by Nobody: 9:04pm On Jun 15, 2015 |
buzibiza: The bosses have said it all. The recent statement of account is preferable. But I will still advise you to work on the response you will give when you are asked what the bearer of the statement of account does. I will advise you work on your confidence and always put a bit of smile to every answer you give on that D-day. Try and talk to God too. 1 Like |

Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 7 by bbdd: 9:13pm On Jun 15, 2015 |
benjaminiyke: This is a tricky one. Usually different schools have different policies regarding this but generally you defer once. Mail the grad school and ask |

bbdd:Thanks bbdd. It's been a while...Hope you doing great? |
Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 7 by Nobody: 9:31pm On Jun 15, 2015 |
benjaminiyke: Benjamin, the possibility is relative. It also depends on the cogent reason you give for deferring. One has to be careful in the reason one gives so one won't risk one's credibility. I deferred once and had a cogent reason. Just try and have a cogent reason for deferring. |
