birdman:Its not over yet and the Cavs definitely have a shot. The addition of Iggy though has turned everything on its head. David Blatt has not found an answer to the Warriors small ball lineup and benching Mozgov has backfired badly. Iggy has taken over ball handling and Curry's main job is to score. The Cavs have to find a way to not burn out in the 4th. Maybe they try out Shawn Marion on Steph. Delly cannot run offense and defense for 48 full minutes which is what it would take to keep The Chef quiet Roland17: Their hope Joel Embiid is reported to miss the entire 2015/2016 season. Serves them right for shameless tanking |

Mynd44: I dont know who thinks Lebron should be getting MVP if he loses. That makes no sense. But the idea that Lebron is "not playing with his team" makes no sense either. How do you think Thomas and Della suddenly look like all-stars. Tell me, who else can create their own shot on that starting roster. Who has the highest assists per game on that team. Where did you come up with the idea he is playing alone? If you are going to hate on LBJ, go ahead hate. But have some real respectable reasons. If he didnt take that volume of shots on a team that is offensively challenged, the same folk will be saying he isnt a leader. If he doesnt take the shots in the last 2 minutes, he isnt clutch. What did you want him to say at the press conference - "I dont think we can win"? or or some other fake humility bs? Yeah I agree he has some funny fanbois, but as tough as the league is today (even in the east), to get to the finals year after year consistently has not been done since the lakers and they had a stellar roster. I almost lost a bet because I thought the warriors would win 4-0. Thankfully my paddy didnt take the bet either, because he looked at the cavs and men, the cavs roster is sorry. Yet, here we are 3-2. I can point you to half a dozen plays in the 2 wins they had where LBJ literally made plays that shifted the game in their favor. Imo, LBJ can sing all he wants. 2 Likes |

and btw I know more lbj flogging is coming down the pike. But I am curious- who do you believe in the league right now could have taken this cavs roster to the finals, down 3-2. Durant, Kobe , Timmy D? Somebody make a case |
Re: The NBA Begins by OohMpa: 8:50am On Jun 16, 2015 |
Mynd44: Another slapping comment.... So his 8.8 assists this series is being selfish? His two triple doubles is being selfish? Wetin you want from the guy? Do you know any player with this kind of team that'll be neck to neck with the warriors? Only person Ooh Mpa can think of is Jordan. Westbrook was all for the numbers in the regular season which wasn't winning him games but you're seeing LeBron and you're... If Love and Kyrie were there, his numbers would reduce. The burden of the team is on him and the other players have not given their fraction to the team. Shumpert and Smith dey play like D-league players, Mozgov as well as Delly has been off and on. His finals experience and sacrifice has contributed to the 2 wins. Even his 43 minutes per game is a testament When Pippen with Rodman got injured and Jordan was left all alone, he had 10 triple doubles in 12 games. Even Kobe carried his team when chips were down but not like LeBron Ooh Mpa won't say he's played well this series, if anything he's been above average but to come up with that selfish tag is just not right, bro |
Re: The NBA Begins by Mynd44: 9:35am On Jun 16, 2015 |
OohMpa:Slap all you want but when a player shoots 38 times and has 40 shots, he needs to start thinking of bringing others into the game. You cannot be having low percentage and keep shooting like you are the only person in the court. He can have all the triple double he wants but what does that do for his team in the series? You have a player who goes out to make statements like "we will win because I am the beat player on the planet" and you call him a team player? That statement alone makes it seem like it is him playing against the Warriors. As for your saying that the only team that can beat the Warriors is the Jordan team, I will love to put this present Warriors team against the Pistons of 2003. With Hamilton, both Wallaces, Taysun Prince and Billups 1 Like |
Re: The NBA Begins by OohMpa: 10:28am On Jun 16, 2015 |
Mynd44: Smith averages 13 shots this series and doesn't make up to 5. Shumpert almost that amount and Ooh Mpa can bet most of the missed shots were given by LeBron. At least he makes up to 44% of his shots keeping the game close. Those ones he passes to that don't make up to 30%, he should make it for them too? He can have all the triple double he wants but what does that do for his team in the series? Those triple doubles are keeping the Cavs in a close contest. Without his 37+ points, 8+ assists and 3+ offensive rebounds, this series should have been done for You have a player who goes out to make statements like "we will win because I am the beat player on the planet" and you call him a team player? That statement alone makes it seem like it is him playing against the Warriors. Yeah, he made a reckless statement which should be your problem with him not his plays. Who knows LeBron as humble? As for your saying that the only team that can beat the Warriors is the Jordan team, I will love to put this present Warriors team against the Pistons of 2003. With Hamilton, both Wallaces, Taysun Prince and Billups Go back and read... Ooh Mpa said the only player with a Cavs roster doing what LeBron is doing now is Jordan. Pistons have a full squad, you have a 4x defensive player of the year, a 4x all star, a 5x all star and a 3x all star. Granted they're average players but they led their team to 6 consecutive conference finals |

birdman:This is moot cos Lebron would not even make it out the West to begin with. Prime Timmy D, Kobe, Durant will take that Cavs team to the Finals in the East at the very least I agree he is taking so many shots out of necessity but let's keep it a 100! He is taking 10 more shots per game than the other Finals MVP candidate. His stats are bound to be gaudier. People also want to point out his assists comparing him with Magic I will also highlight the turnovers. I don't know how many games they would win with that roster tbh but you have to realize a few things. 1) It took Steve Kerr 3 games to realize Andrew Bogut was a liability, 2) X-Factor guys like Klay Thompson and Harrison Barnes have been a non-factor for majority of the series Whatever happened with injuries is Lebron's cross to carry to be honest. He assumed Wade and Bosh were done and ran back to Cleveland forgetting anybody can get hurt. Either way we really don't care if he is the only player left on the court. He has lost the Finals in the past with a more talented squad. If he loses this one again that would be #4 and he would be heading to Chamberlain, Elgin Baylor. Jerry West territory in Finals losses |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 4:01pm On Jun 16, 2015 |
birdman:He has come out to say it he better back it up with a win tonight. Curry would probably score 50pts if he took the volume of shots Lebron is taking birdman:Which Laker roster? Shey Kobe and Gasol own? I agree! but if its Kobe and Shaq mba! Of course people say oo but they had Robert Horry but it was the brilliance of Kobe and Shaq that even put them in the position for Big shot Bob to hit the odd buzzer-beater. The West was serious that year too, Blazers, Kings, Spurs |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 7:47pm On Jun 16, 2015 |
Great as lebron is most of his nuthuggers here nees to understand great team work is what wins championships. Wanting to do it all alone creates wear and tear on your most hard working players Even with Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving I dont see them beating this warriors team the warriors are not even bothered about stopping him they are more concerned with shutting down his teammates God keep us till 2:am Ill be watching this. Go Dubs! See them 2 Likes

A40: loool. lbj really should just not have said anything. I think he knows the warriors are a better team, and he was trying to psych up his team with trash talk. But if cavs lose tonite, man that clip will be played on espn all day tomorrow. It is ok to think you are the best player in the league, but you have to know when to mechonu. all the pressure is on lbj for this game |

Warriors up 28-15 first quarter Steph Curry 9 pts Iggy 7pts birdman:Funny that a lot of people actually were sympathetic to the fact that the Cavs were short-handed (not me sha) but it was just unnecessary talk that he just didn't have the resources to backup. Let's see how it goes. He hasn't played too well so far |

Warriors moving the ball well but are letting the Cavs creep back up into this game |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 2:53am On Jun 17, 2015 |
Klay Thompson already in foul trouble. He's been a non factor in these Finals. Disappointing |

this is the difference btw super star and role player. Nobody other than james wants to shoot the 3 right now. Dellavedova is running away from every shot. Good game so far |

Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 3:29am On Jun 17, 2015 |
ESPN is responsible for hyping this call for Lebron to be named the MVP of the finals and I must say it is very annoying and disrespectful to the Warriors organization, admittedly the Warriors allowed the Cavs stick out for too long, this series should have been over a long time ago but their inexperience has partly responsible and that includes the coaching staff. |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:31am On Jun 17, 2015 |
Lol the Warriors nearly cough up a 13pt lead in one quarter You have to wonder if Kerr is going back to Bogut because Thompson and Mozgov just dey chance them anyhow 45-43 Warriors lead at the half |
Re: The NBA Begins by Mizzzbeee(f): 3:33am On Jun 17, 2015 |
Roland17:is it just me Or r these announcers very biased... Lebron dis Lebron dat it frigging annoying.... Even d Highlight plays r always of the Cavs |
Re: The NBA Begins by Ewuro4: 3:36am On Jun 17, 2015 |
LBJ was a cheerful giver first half and didn't work too well. He needs to bring the ball down and play what his own game . Dunk it. offensive fouls and missed shots arent what we signed up for boys. Let's do this CAVS!! Go CAVS !!! Mizzzbeee: Huh It's just the first half Iguodala though... Great game. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Ewuro4: 3:39am On Jun 17, 2015 |
TIED!! |
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 3:39am On Jun 17, 2015 |
Mizzzbeee: It's not just u, it makes unbias fans unable to analyze other players on the court because they are always defending his errors and hyping his good plays, Lebron has been good but he definitely has not been the best player in every game thus far. |
