I may be wrong, but when I get rewrite jobs, the first thing I do is to read through and understand the concepts explained in the article. Next, I scan through articles on that concept to get a broader perspective before I start writing.

I write from my head while using the original article as a guide. This way, it speaks volume and is plagiarism-free.

With regards to price, I charge the same as new articles, and sometimes higher, depending on the platform and client.

This is the best way to rewrite articles/content. You can also source for other articles apart from the one your employer gave you to have a better understanding of the topic.

I understand that a good writer must ensure that any work carried out must be plagiarism-free. my brother experience has always taught me to follow the project description to the letter. some employer just want you to rewrite by changing the structure of the sentence while others want you to rewrite by avoiding plagiarism. this employer project description depicts the former. I felt that since replicating what I did in the sample test (changing the structure of the sentence) that I passed was all what he needed, I shouldn't bother about plagiarism. I am displeased with this employer as a result of his lack of empathy. he doesn't even believe he has any fault at all. he even has the gut to ask me to cancel the milestone. Kai

You don't just wake up and start offering that. You have to learn the basis. Read through the pages on this thread and try researching more about clues on Google. It's a gradual process, make sure you are learning and implementing at the same time and not just stuffing your head.

That would depend on how long youve been doing it and how much research you need to do for the article. Some people on this thread can do 500 words in 30 mims while newcommers might take 3 -4 hours.

@Samplanner, what they told you is a lie! You can make money as a Nigerian/black on Fiverr. I did it and it worked. You don't have to falsify your identity to make money online. This is the gospel I have been preaching and will continue to preach by the grace of God. What will you gain by changing your IP so you can make money online. There is a saying that goes "Integrity is the soul of business". Be who you are and be honest in your dealings and you will go far in life. It is not only your identity that helps you to make money on fiverr/online - your skill, your profile description, pic, video, tags, pricing etc. All of these factors contribute to your success on freelancing websites. Well, the ball is in your court, decide ye which way ye want to follow. But as for me and my house, we will follow the ways of the Lord.

A computer/phone and a modem is the tool of this business. You need a laptop or desktop and a modem to work effectively. I have seen some people use phones, but your best bet is to save and buy a desktop (which is cheap) and a modem. All the best!
