2019 Presidency: Rochas Okorocha To Takeover From Buhari-Ifeduba Governor Rochas Okorocha is the Only Igbo Politician that have the national outlook and as it become clear that Buhari may actually go for only one term in office its time we start re positioning our son Rochas Okorocha to go for the presidency in 2019 for the sake of equity and our continuous and unwavering support for the Apc its absolutely important the position of the Presidency be zoned to the South East. Now its becoming clear that Buhari will likely go for only one term in office if he be a gentleman and honor his agreement of one term in office Rochas, an Igbo, was born on 22 September 1962 in Ogboko, Ideato South, Imo State. He attended Juladaco High School, Jos (1976-1981). He studied at the University of Jos (1990-1991), obtaining a diploma in Public Administration. He returned to the University of Jos (1993-1994) to obtain an advanced diploma in Public Administration.[2] Career positions include President, Nigeria Red Cross Society, President/Founder, Rochas Foundation Inc, President, Rochas Group of Companies Limited, Pro Chancellor, African Business School and Former Chairman, Board of Nigerian Airspace Management Agency. Okorocha was a Commissioner on the Federal Character Commission and a Member of the National Constitutional Conference. When democracy was restored in 1999, Rochas Okorocha competed in the primaries to be People's Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for governor of Imo State, but lost to Achike Udenwa. He moved to the All Nigeria People's Party (ANPP), and was an unsuccessful candidate for President on the ANPP platform in 2003. He returned to the PDP, and President Olusegun Obasanjo appointed him as Special Adviser on Inter-Party affairs. Rochas Okorocha formed the Action Alliance (AA) party in 2005, planning to become a Presidential candidate for the AA in the 2007 elections. He again returned to the PDP, and in September 2007 indicated that he was interested in becoming PDP National Chairman. On 2 March 2013 Rochas led an APGA faction and decamped to All Progressives Congress. He was later elected by his colleague governors in the opposition as Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum Ifeduba ThankGod T ( A Political Analyst writes in from Anambra state) http://ifedubatochukwu..com/2015/06/2019-presidency-rochas-okorocha-to.html

If Okorocha really. want to succeed PMB, he needs to deliver well in his second term, so that people will be making reference to his achievements in Imo state when the time comes. |

tochukwuifeduba: He was starved of funds you say, and he never cried out? Quit this bro. You selling him short! GEJ led FG paid their allocation to date. For a governor who says he would pay himself 16 billion first, much is left to be desired. And for what it's worth, could you please base your political analyses on time tested ideologies and ditch this ethno-political line you're towing? Thanks. 3 Likes 1 Share |

tochukwuifeduba: Please stop this rubbish about APC states being starved of funds. If you've been following the news, you'll know that oil prices have been on the downward trend since last year, and Nigeria is even finding it difficult to sell our crude oil. I earnestly desire the day an Igbo man will be president of Nigeria, but please not Rochas. I won't mind Peter Obi though. 2 Likes |

You and Okorocha are dreamers. Outside Imo, Okorocha commands nobodys respect. He is generally seen as a traitor by his people. Some people don't seem to realise that APC is less of a national party than PDP was. Okorocha barely survived the rejection of APC by the SE/SS people. Another thing about APC is that the northern support which brought it to power was largely because of Buhari. Take away Buhari and APC is dead. APC is largely a northern/Yoruba thing, how does anyone think that they will give an Igbo man their presidential ticket? Even if Rochas miraculously gets the presidential ticket, where will he get the votes to win? Is it his people who generally regard him as an outcast that will vote him? My people in Anambra hate him with a passion for trying to bring APC into our state after riding to power on the name of the great Ikemba and APGA. Is it the Yorubas and their distrust of the Igbos that will vote him? Or is it the northerners and their 'born to rule' mentality that will vote him? I have more chances of visiting the moon than Rochas ever being president of Nigeria. 11 Likes |

PentiumPro: I believe SE is for good governance and not he's our brother stuff...otherwise they would have voted the great Ikemba Ojukwu as against Obj or NRC with Igbo VP as against SDP Abiola&Kingibe or Ezeoke/buhari against Yar'adua... In all these occasions they voted against their people for people from other regions... Now, compare Rochas governance with Chime in Enugu, Peter Obi in Anambra etc and he's nowhere except lies and propaganda... Remember, his state Imo receives the highest allocation in SE but ranks among the poor performers... 2 Likes |

Whynotthetruth:If you want us to engage in government accountability then we have to do a thorough research work not treating isolated case. we need facts and statistic of the entire 36 state governors in Nigeria.., we need statistic of their monthly allocation and internal generated revenue.. we need to see other projects the engaged in .. Government does not start and end with paying Imo workers salary |

I read with utter disgust the way Anambra people deride Rochas., wetin the guy do una sef? As far as the south East is concerned Rochas Okorocha is the most prominent politician. He has won two elections with lesser parties proving that he indeed is a sellable candidate. He is the only Governor from APC in South East. He saw the handwriting on the wall and as a sharp guy tried to move apga into the APC but Obi had other plans. The Anambra people still out of their utter frustration and myopia voted Ngige (obvious Senate president) out. Who is that politician in Anambra state who can pick the APC ticket if you insist Rochas must no go? 10 Likes |
