Why is this man called Semiu Okanlawon crying over the fact that a senator wants to donate half of his wadrobe allowance to starving state workers in osun state. If e pain u so much, why don't you donate your allowances or salary, perhaps your stolen wealth to the starving pple of Osun state?

think I have a simple way of cutting down the cost of this wardrobe allowance. Just employ 12 Taylors 2 each from each geopolitical zone. Make two uniforms for each member, one as official and other ceremonial. Red for Senate nd green for reps. If possible give them ranks according to position occupied and numbers of years of services

At first I supported Ben Bruce's decision!
But after a re-think, I think it's kinda unnecessary.
Here is a man that has been shouting to d high heavens that he will stand for true change and that he will seek a reduction in govt spending at all tiers for that matter.

Why then is he making a u-turn? His decision to donate the bogus allowance implies he is welcoming it!

My point is No Wardrobe Allowance for these mofos!

If they like, let them be naked, e no concern us!

Benue State workers are not complaining the way Osun workers are complaining. Also Benue is an APC state so it's not PDP's responsibility to pay Benue workers their salaries.

He cannot unilaterally reduce govt spending. He'll certainly move a motion for the reduction of senators' pay but he would need the support and votes of his fellow colleagues. That will take time. He's only doing this (donation of allowance to Osun workers) in the interim since he can do it unilaterally.

Most acts of Nigerian politicians are obviously treasonable in noal society. They live off the blood and suffering of the people they claim to serve.

Ben Bruce is civilised, he is not like the rest of the opportunistic apes. He will do the tight thing and always put them to shame. Nigeria needs people like that to run its affairs,he us tested and successful business man that to a great extent believes in hard,fairness and constructive management to excel.
