Shawbabe: I remember your acrobatic way o jare. That's what I finally did, it wasn't so different but it saved extra cost that would have come from exchange rate using my card and perhaps tax. The Nigerian office quoted 76k |

Beryl15: Thanks, is that irrespective of weather ur having a vaginal or caesearean delivery? The hospital bill is still pretty expensive. Do you have someone who ll drive you to DCMH or do you plan on driving? Cause cab can be pretty expensive as well. Do you know exactly how much st Francis n Christians charge? |

Xenadarl: I think so but will call the hospital to confirm again. I'm staying with family so going there would not be a problem. Someone who used Christiana paid 3.5k Dr fee and almost 13k for hospital(CS). Don't know about St Francis though. |

Please does anyone knows what this means? I paid for U.S. visa fee 2 days back on Gtbank's website. I got a confirmation of the payment and the receipt. I've been trying to input the Reference no but I keep getting an error message. Has this ever happened to anyone?

Hello house! Long time. Got back to naija last weekend with my American princess! So I promised to post the process of getting naija passport. Naija passport is gotten from only three states in the US - Washington DC, Atlanta and New York. Please note that baby has to be physically present at their office for photo capture unlike the naija visa that can be posted by mail. I got my baby's passport in DC. First, you have to go to their website (https://portal.immigration.gov.ng/passport/epassport) to fill an application form and pay $77. Make sure u select the right country and state where u want it processed. You can only pay online with a card that has the same surname with your baby. I haven't done change of name on my accounts so couldn't pay online. It's written on the website payment can only be made online but it's not true. Just fill the application form and print it out. Then buy two separate money orders of $77 and $30 each. Then go to their office with baby's birth cert(original and fotocopy), two passport fotos of baby, copy of both parents datapage, online application form printout and money order of $77 and $30. You do not need 2 book an appointment b4 going. Wen u get to the office,if you went with money order(didnt pay online),they will collect additional $35 from you and say it is to associate the money order to your application form(in my opinion,it was jst a way 2 get extra money *hisss*). Then you submit all the documents and wait for baby's turn to capture. They say it takes 2weeks for it to be ready but you can get it same day(expedited). It cost $90 for expedited and it will be paid to their supervisor. They will try to form that it's legal but na lie. No receipt for it and you pay codedly. Naija pple are the same anywhere in the world! Smh. Wait for 30mins or an hour max for the passport to be ready. There's a business centre at their office where fotocopy is done for $10 per page and they can also fill the application form for you there but don't know how much. It's best you fill the form and print from home and go with all you documents to save cost and time. Please note that this procedure is for DC office as that's where I did my baby's own. Congrats to all new mums and safe delivery to expectant mums. This marks the end of this journey for first baby. Will still be here reading(and laughing at funny posts and fights) quietly. I'm also available to ans any questions. 18 Likes 1 Share |

Hawttattoo:Sorry for the boredom,it will be over soon. Type in telenovelas into the amazon search box when you get to their site you will see lots of them. Type in the title of each movie into google to read the summary before buying them. 1 Like |

Hello fam. Please i need help with the notary service at the us embassy. I want to know if it's possible to go to the embassy without the appointment confirmation page. I scheduled the appointment for my hubby successfully, but before i could say Jack Robinson, the page expired. So i was unable to save it. Now i can't even cancel and reshedule cos i don't have the code needed. Please advice me on what to do cos my flight date is less than two weeks and i cant afford to miss that appointment slot. And please advice on which postal service is best to use when sending doc from Nigeria to the US. I mean a reliable one that delivers promptly. Thanks |

queenestty: thanks newmum15 have search again and found information on Northside hospital. what i plan was 1. To pay for the hospital bill and get receipt sent to my e-mail if possible so i can present at POE (but did nt get info on anyone who have done this or how they go about it) 2. To get a doctor appointment letter (that i have contacted an ob/gyn of atlanta, they ask me to fax my record, fax was difficult for me, i asked for an e-mail and have send them mail attaching my record, no response from them yet, send a reminder twice, no reply to my mail. 3. As for pediatrician, do i need to book them too. 4. Is a question, the gynecology fee, is it including the blood works, or u pay seperately for blood work r 5. Those that have giving birth, how do they dispose the placenta. just wondering. I need to finish all these to get prepared for the POE as i have booked my flight already. this are my worries though for now. pls need advice thanks all. |
