Ajuran:At the bolded - I said that the Chadic and Omotic languages are "related" to Cushitic languages by virtue of them being part of the Afro-Asiatic language family. |

Godmother:Many thanks ...well actually a poll has benn made in South Africa last year and Cameroon was on top 3 among most beautiful African ladies ... The thing is that they have just recently been promoted but Cameroon was not like Angola or Somalia and all that to promote their women this is not their culture . But since few years especially on Miss World people have seen our strong potential in terms of beauty. :-) Btw many thanks for the compliment I appreciate sister here is another one |

Nayah: pkjag:Pkjag, The lady who is usually the Tucker Project Fame principle has those first set of pale eyes. I've seen many unmixed Bantu people like that in Kenya. Is that green. The Second looks brown to me. The second is more of brown. I think it's actually an African specific eye colour. |
Re: Beautiful and Handsome Bantu People Photos Here! by Nobody: 12:07pm On Jun 17, 2015 |
muafrika: Yeah I think they are green though a little dark due to the melanin, I stopped watching Tusker project fame when Sheila Mwanyigha left, who is the new lady? Nayah:Yes you are right, it is here to educate us, I didn't know black people had coloured eyes, it might be interesting to investigate what areas have a significant population and why that is the case. |
Re: Beautiful and Handsome Bantu People Photos Here! by Nobody: 4:35pm On Jun 17, 2015 |
pkjag:The Teso of Western Kenya and Eastern Uganda tend to have light coloured eyes. All my Teso Friends have brown eyes. Though they are nilotes. I forget the name of the girl who replaced Sheila. She's o. k. |

muafrika:OOh, I knew her but didn't know her name, Tv doesn't allow you to view in that closely. Also why do many Luos or many people from western have that tooth gap, I hear it is a very desirable trait in Luo girls. |
Re: Beautiful and Handsome Bantu People Photos Here! by Nobody: 6:06pm On Jun 17, 2015 |
pkjag:It's cool. I think it makes the face symmetrical. For some reason Nilotes seem to have that a lot. Even some of their initiation rites include pulling out some front teeth. |
Re: Beautiful and Handsome Bantu People Photos Here! by Ajuran: 10:11pm On Jun 17, 2015 |
BlackKenichi: Chadic is as related to Somalis as they are to Arabic, since all are part of Afroasiatic languages. I believe those who are negroid who speak Chadic languages were enslaved by a larger people. Somali langauge has not changed and is indigenous and has origins to a specific ethnicity unlike west africans who speak Afroasiatic because of slavery. |

You are wrong about a lot of things Ajuran. Hausa is a very old and ancient Afro-Asiatic language. While there are variants to the language (just like there are variants to the English language), the language is pretty much the same whether you are in Kano, Nigeria, or Zinder, Niger. Whether you are in Sokoto, Nigeria or Agadez, Niger, Hausa is Hausa. It's a beautiful language, that's why many Fulani people speak it as a 2nd language, and that's why it's the Lingua Franca of a lot of Nigeria. You claim that there are not many Afro-Asiatic languages in Nigeria, Nigeria boasts about 150 (this is coming from both Berber and Chadic groups). With that said, tell me this language isn't sweet: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ngpfM70Q-Q 2 Likes |

Fulaman198:Certainly does sound Afro-Asiatic to me with all the hiatus stops and breaks that characterize Semitic and Cushitic languages. That singing style is very common among many Cushitic communities in East Africa, maybe they once interacted. 1 Like |

pkjag: All Afro-Asiatic languages are related and that's why I'm beginning to think that the original Hebrew speakers were black as well. No way in heck did Whites start speaking Afro-Asiatic languages until more recently. The first Afro-Asiatic speakers were all black. |
Re: Beautiful and Handsome Bantu People Photos Here! by Nobody: 9:44pm On Jun 18, 2015 |
Fulaman198:I think you are right, even the name starts with Afro, so whoever coined the term must have had good reason to link Semitic languages to Africa. 1 Like |
Re: Beautiful and Handsome Bantu People Photos Here! by Fulaman198(m): 9:46pm On Jun 18, 2015 |
pkjag: Yeah a lot of these languages that whites speak today (came originally from blacks). There are more "Black" Afro-Asiatic speakers than there are white Afro-Asiatic speakers. So the white Berbers many of them are of Roman, Turkish and Greek descent. The true Berbers are from Gourara, and the Siwa and Tuareg Berbers. The white "berbers" don't even practise Berber culture so why they call themselves Amazighen is beyond me. There are many Afro-Asiatic languages extending from East to West Africa all of which are spoken in the Sahelian and Saharan belt. 1 Like |
