so I did I set out on my trip to the ranch, after so many questions and research. well I was told this was not the right time to visit the ranch. spent three days up ranch but could not tour and enjoy my stay cus of the weather. there was poor visibility 24/7. Tho I did made some finding that will be beneficial to intending visitors

. well apart from ur transportation, roughly 100k should be enough for a couple spending minimum of three days. there are private hotels for as low as 10 and 5k.. food at these hotel goes for 600 to 900 a plate. unless u want to stay at d protea hotel..cheapest room is 20k

. no only d main protea hotel u can get bookings online.. the private ones..once u get up ranch jst ask Okada or taxi men to take u to any of d private hotels.. I lodge at abebe lodge...very nice place

. you don't really need a tour guide. jst ask ur way around.. cable car is 2000 per ride.. all other site attractions d most expensive is 2000. the canopy walk, holy mountain etc d price is not up to 1000 per visit

the last time i went to the ranch was in 2013. i want to go during xmas with my 2 kids. is the bebi airstrip still in use ie can you fly to the ranch? what form of transport did you use? and if by road how long was your journey?

. yea d bebi still works. tho it does not fly on a daily base lik a normal commercial airport. the flight is only from m.ekpo airport in Calabar. I went by road.. from obudu town to the ranch is lik 50 mins.. how long the entire journey will depend from were u are coming from..

the hotel I stayed..was not realy bad oo...so one must not stay at protea to have a nice time
