Check the govt health centre in your area.

DH and I slept by 3am today. The twins were just screaming thru the night. The both wanted to sleep with the bobby, and I couldn't give d two of them at once.. See fight! I got angry, removed their clothes, and showered them with cold water. They screamed and cried. My DH was shouting that I was wicked to have bathed them with cold water. They slept 5mins later. I looked at DH like "am I still wicked now?" may we reap the fruits of our labour o. Our children shall all be great. All our vigilante will not be in vain in Jesus name.

4 ur 1st question, I only tried peak123, so don't know if d odas r beta. On ur 2nd question, I tink pooing 3-4 times everyday is 2 much. Wen I started using peak123 for my son wen he turned 1, he started pooling, so I stopped n gave him regular dano milk which he tolerated. Some pple say peak123 is 2 sweet. Since dats d only different tin he takes 4rm yours, I ll suggest u change 2 anoda brand n c if deer is a change.

I understand you shouldn't mix drugs like that oh!!! So this concoction may not be a good idea. You can give at intervals sweetened with Vit C i guess but mixing all is a no no!

Working mothers, how do you cope with introducing solids to your babies at 6 months? I'm finding it very hard, so my baby has been taking Frisogold and NAN 2 only, separately though.

Is thr a mother here using or knows someone using general hospital that can confirm if its so here in Lagos?

Pneumococcal and Rotavirus are not free in Lag. Some health centres stock it, but you need to pay for it.

Thanks to all mothers that responded to my question,@Mumz, Cutienik, esteria, Mytestimony, phunmielomo, i will go as scheduled at 6mths,i use a private hospital and they give it there though my friend said they dnt give it at the general hospital. We stay in ilorin.

cow milk for babies not up to one yr is a big NO pls, its really really not adviseable.

One thing with baby's diet is that as with adults it is an individual experience. Some babies will readily take some foods and some will not. If you have given the individual pap and peak milk and s/he took it well then please continue.
Some people give their babies adult* i.e peak, dano etc milk straight away because of funds or other reasons like yours and from my personal experience the babies turn out just right.
As per quantity again it depends on the child. Start with the four scoops recommended. If he still seems hungry afterwards please feel free to mix up two or more scoops. At least till you are sure of what he/she can conveniently eat well at a sitting.
You can decide to feed your baby every 3/4/5 hours i.e you may wanna work a schedule. Some people feed when baby is crying or yelling from hunger. Again it depends on what you the mother wants.
For the weight loss there are some times babies lose weight the baby fat* drops off i guess LOL. As long as baby isn't ill or emaciating i wont bother worrying.
Please continue with the adult food too, the earlier one starts babies up on it the better.

Am 3 months old baby is having catarrh( affecting his breathing) and cough. We took him to d clinic n we were given ceporex, vitc and piriton. But he is still coughing n d catarrh is still affecting him. Has anyone experienced this before? N what else can I give him. Thanks.

Hello Tchiwinnie and other mamas that encouraged me when i was disturbed about my daughter's neck control. Here's an update!
Her head is no longer wobbly!!!
She has a pretty good head control while sitting supported, though she's lazy in holding her head and chest upright while lying on her stomach during tummy time.

Gdafternoon sisters.pls my 13 months daughter has been coughing for the past two weeks mostly at night but not temperature.any home remedy to administer pls. secondly she has some blisters around her body like insect bites.they are swollen, wide and thick n itches her pls ow do i treat that?.Aside these two things shes still her active self.

Peak 123 is too sweet oh that's y i changed to Nido 1-3yrs.

experienced mamas abeg I need ur advice on d type of walker to buy. I checked Konga and saw two main types.
1. The first one has seat and I am guessing that will help children learn to sit. My baby is just about 4 and a half months so I guess its more suitable but I am guessing that as soon as he can sit or crawl its goodbye to this type of walker.
2. activity walker: which is probably suitable for a child learning to walk.

So my question is does he really need the sitting one to learn how to sit? If he doesn't I'll just wait and by the second or do I need the two?
