Sanusi Lamido Sanusi On Biafra. by Nobody: 11:08am On Jun 19, 2015 |
"There is a new Igbo man, who was not born in 1966 and neither knows nor cares about Nzeogwu and Ojukwu. There are Igbo men on the street who were never Biafrans. They were born Nigerians, are Nigerians, but suffer because of actions of earlier generations. They will soon decide that it is better to fight their own war, and may be find an honourable peace, than to remain in this contemptible state in perpetuity. The Northern Bourgeoisie and the Yoruba Bourgeoisie have exacted their pound of flesh from the Igbos. For one Sardauna, one Tafawa Balewa, one Akintola and one Okotie-Eboh, hundreds of thousands have died and suffered. If this issue is not addressed immediately, no conference will solve Nigeria´s problems". Excerpts from A Paper Presented At The “National Conference On The 1999 Constitution” Jointly Organised By The Network For Justice And The Vision Trust Foundation, At The Arewa House, Kaduna From 11th –12th September, 1999. 1 Like |

I posted this excepts two nights ago on the nnamdi kanu thread. Truth is that Sanusi's words were prophetic and currently unfolding before our very own eyes after 16yrs. I loved most the part he drew semblance of the biafrans and with the Germans. A lion is truly rising in the east, Nigeria should be very afraid of this new generation of Igbos most of whom where children of war who reincarnated into their present entity. These kids are spoiling for a rematch. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Some of us do not want any war. It is time, we go to a round table and negotiate Nigeria. Those who say NO to this are the true enemies of Nigeria. |

The kind of re awakening that is happening in Igboland is unprecedented. You have a generation of Young Igbo people, with a rabid case of pure undiluted hatred for Nigeria and Nigerians. The internet has helped to create and nurture this new breed, as people are having more access to Biafran war information and atrocities, the Nigerians had carefully suppressed and kept out of school curriculum and history classes. Kalu Nnamdi is only but a part of this moving train, bringing the info to the previously unreachable. Too many Biafran Facebook pages with thousands of young Igbo minds being exposed to graphic pictures, videos and publications of the massacre that was unleashed on Igbo nation and neighbors by Nigerians and their leaders, the consciousness of the Igbo nation had never been so awake! The momentum is gathering, and will soon reach a critical mass, then the wrath will be unleashed on all those who had made peaceful resolution of the Zoo impossible. |

noblezone: Those who make peaceful resolutions impossible are indirectly calling for Violent resolutions, this was the same game Gowon played. The call for a free Igbo nation can never be a call for violence. But the call to suppress a people's desire for self determination and independence is a call for violence. |
