mercylicious: In addition, be very careful when using the other platform (not the Live trading platform) to place stop-limit orders. If possible, avoid using that platform as it is not well developed. Your stock may be sold even before it gets to your stop price. Some Morgan staffs don't even know the difference between a stop, limit and a stop-limit order. 1 Like |

jamace: You people shouldn't fall for Wale's trap, From the look of things OANDO will touch #12. Bcuz presently Tinubu don't know how he will recoup his campaign fund. In other words anything below #13 is a good buy. |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by angelo82: 12:09pm On Jun 19, 2015 |
Chibuking81: That story is not justified because when he is back in November he won't cherry pick anything..........The current momentum in the market is not bearish nor bullish but obviously sluggish........Am sure the person whose theory is to sell in May and come back whenever to cherry pick is confuse right now...............But am sure as soon as Buhari start real governance, then real trading will start............ |

angelo82:people said before now, that the moment Buhari is handed over to, that bull will fill the market, now more than two weeks gone, we are still waiting. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by angelo82: 12:26pm On Jun 19, 2015 |
Chibuking81: Buhari himself slow down the whole bullish momentum..............Imagine no tangible appointment or economic path.........Is like we don't have a leader yet and you expect market player with huge fund to trade blindly..........I believe in a week or two, things will start to fall into places........... |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Chibuking81(m): 12:28pm On Jun 19, 2015 |
angelo82:I totally disagree with you, market is bearish for now, and no one is happy about that including me. Is it when we wake up one morning and find nothing in our portfolio we shall recognise the bear in the market? How much was GTB, ZENITH, OANDO, TRANSCORP and many others before now? |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Nobody: 12:43pm On Jun 19, 2015 |
jamace: Sir, no call for BP or any unhealthy concern here if one is familiar with the force behind Oando's stock. The greatest theorem of this stock is that most are emotionally attached to it . The game is on...! |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by angelo82: 12:44pm On Jun 19, 2015 |
Chibuking81: I know real Bear and it moves down very fast just like a real bull which goes up very fast........The situation in the market is just dull and not much activities.......Low volume transaction is also another problem but if your new President can be swift with appointment and other decisions expected from him, this dullness will disappear and market will have a clear direction....... |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by PETERiCHY(m): 2:02pm On Jun 19, 2015 |
angelo82: Believe it or not globally after the full year and 1st quarter results which normally rolls in from Jan to April and cause market uproar. From May to September market correction/ lack lustre sets in due to some factors like Summer holidays, Raining season, Moslem fasting and New acedemic year School fees. Then from October 3rdquarter results will kind of resurrect the market. Some of us are simply waiting for OANDO/COP dividend and as well use the drop in price opportunity to leverage on the units we bought high last year. 1 Like |

PETERiCHY: Sir Peterichy, i respect your gut on Oando/COP deal. I observe that you are emotionally attached to this stock. I will advice you to thread softly on it. Too much is going on at the back stage but in all its worth the wait if one is smart enough to time and dine with these shark . No hard feelings sir, just my opinion and advice. |

I had to offload a good portion of my stocks (including Oando) to gain a strong cash position and re-position on some very mouth watering deals waiting to happen. The golden opportunities are still there. You just have to recognise them for yourself. Hedging by diversification has also proven itself for me this period. |
