bellong: Stanimal Damn....that guy deserves it We wait another year for nole's career slam |
Re: Boys Night Out Discussions by bellong: 5:42pm On Jun 07, 2015 |
pickabeau1: What a game.... From 3-0 down.... He is indeed Stanimal.. The career slam may not come... Though, I still see Nole leading for 2-3 more years. FedEx can pull one of his stunts to win the Wimbledon... |
Re: Boys Night Out Discussions by pickabeau1: 5:47pm On Jun 07, 2015 |
bellong: FedEx has four guys now to beat Nole will get it...amen |
Re: Boys Night Out Discussions by bellong: 11:01pm On Jun 07, 2015 |
pickabeau1: Stanimal's single backhand was touche, reminds me of FedEx in his time. FedEx love Wimbledon, he can stun all the big wigs... But Nole is still the favourite. |
Re: Boys Night Out Discussions by pickabeau1: 6:34am On Jun 08, 2015 |
bellong: Yes ..that back hand was something else The net slice too Let's see as per Wimbledon |
Re: Boys Night Out Discussions by Nobody: 11:25pm On Jun 14, 2015 |
coogar: Just saw Raid 2. Bloody awesome. The fight scenes are epic but my favourite is the sequence between Rama and that guy with the blades in the restaurant kitchen. Good watch. |
Re: Boys Night Out Discussions by Ewuro4: 12:08am On Jun 15, 2015 |

Re: Boys Night Out Discussions by An0nimus: 6:28pm On Jun 16, 2015 |
I've not seen a handful of these oldies. Wonder what I was watching then. At least I've seen these: Water world (I must have watched this movie a hundred times, Kevin Costner) Delta Force Air Force one Spawn Roger moore James bond flicks. Can't forget that tall guy with the metal teeth . Mr Scaramanga was the triple nippl.ed bad guy yeah? Rip Christopher Lee talking of 3 tips, just remembered the first Total Recall that had Schwarzennegar Hard to kill. Steven Seagal and his wicked way of fighting Predator. the fight between Schwarzenegar and the Predator, then the suicidal laugh at the end |
Re: Boys Night Out Discussions by coogar: 11:47am On Jun 18, 2015 |
Timbuktou: raid 1 is even better than the 2nd one. the fight scenes are out of this world - pure fists & kicks, no bullshytting. |

Re: Boys Night Out Discussions by bellong: 1:48pm On Jun 19, 2015 |
Kimoni: 75 is good.. thumbs up. Meanwhile, you should read a book on research methodology (going by the lecturer's comment on your citation). Is it for a PhD? @Coogar, I saw the raid yesterday. It is a brutal movie... will see the part 2 soon |
Re: Boys Night Out Discussions by pickabeau1: 1:49pm On Jun 19, 2015 |
bellong.....u Raid?! Will not have put u for bloody action films... |
Re: Boys Night Out Discussions by bellong: 1:53pm On Jun 19, 2015 |
pickabeau1: I love adventures and actions. My wife doesn't watch movies with me. She knows my kind of movie is full of violence. No guns, no matchet/sword is equal to No NO except I get good review from others. |
Re: Boys Night Out Discussions by Kimoni: 1:55pm On Jun 19, 2015 |
And Coogar, I saw ur comments here on Raid 1 and I made the mistake of watching it yesterday night. Big Mistake!! how can you even like that movie? Very graphic images I won't even advise my enemies to watch it. Good story line, lovely ending but boy! the killings were too graphic Hopefully, you don't own a gun else I'll be very afraid for your neigbours But I liked that confident fighter though the brothers finally killed him with a weapon, that was cheating but I loved it that way he needed to die I won't watch any movie you recommend again though |
Re: Boys Night Out Discussions by pickabeau1: 1:57pm On Jun 19, 2015 |
bellong: I like this guy In that case.. I recommend the following Shoot Em Up Sin City (the original) The Legend of Bobby Z Sucker punch Faster |
Re: Boys Night Out Discussions by bellong: 2:00pm On Jun 19, 2015 |
pickabeau1: Guess I have seen sin city and the legend of bobby Z. Will check out the others.... |
Re: Boys Night Out Discussions by coogar: 2:03pm On Jun 19, 2015 |
Kimoni: kimoni, it wasn't that bad na. 300 or the spartacus series is worse. i like graphic stuff and i am sure you do too - otherwise, you wouldn't have waited to see the movie to the end. Kimoni: prayer is not enough jor you can put a little token(4 digits) in my natwest account. bellong: the fight scenes were lovely to watch. i like the part where the boss was shooting some of his incompetent henchmen. the pistol jammed & the poor dude thought he would be spared & the boss went into his chest of drawers to bring out a hammer. |
Re: Boys Night Out Discussions by pickabeau1: 2:03pm On Jun 19, 2015 |
bellong: ok.. I still love the Transporter films Expendables |
Re: Boys Night Out Discussions by pickabeau1: 2:04pm On Jun 19, 2015 |
coogar: Reminds me of the Jackal Bruce Willis and Banderas |
Re: Boys Night Out Discussions by Kimoni: 2:09pm On Jun 19, 2015 |
bellong: Thanks
I am always getting penalized for referencing oooo Always!!!! Both in the main body and bibliography I have taken it as my cross and I am ready to carry it, they should keep deducting my marks Problem is I can't be bothered with referencing when i have a good write-up. Referecing is very boring for me [/quote]
Wait for it
I am also wondering the kind of mind Coogar has for him to enjoy and recommend this movie |
Re: Boys Night Out Discussions by bellong: 2:10pm On Jun 19, 2015 |
coogar: That poor dude would have been better with a bullet. That guy has no iota of human emotions. Brutally killing people. pickabeau1: I would have added Steven Seagal to the mix but the fact that he does the bones breaking alone without getting stained makes me dislike his movie. He doesn't entertain like others that still receive little beating or axing before overcoming, Claude Vandamme comes to mind. |
Re: Boys Night Out Discussions by Kimoni: 2:14pm On Jun 19, 2015 |
Coogar, Spartacus wasn't this bad now. They put the bloody part in slow motion so it doesn't have that effect on you anymore. I watched Raid to the end but I had to keep covering my eyes Prayer is far better than any digits in ur bank account |
Re: Boys Night Out Discussions by Kimoni: 2:16pm On Jun 19, 2015 |
pickabeau1: Pick, am I moving on? I said I'll pray for you on Sunday naa, Can you quantify that So you think I am young ehnnn |
Re: Boys Night Out Discussions by bellong: 2:17pm On Jun 19, 2015 |
Kimoni: Welcome Miss/Mrs... I am always getting penalized for referencing oooo Always!!!! Both in the main body and bibliography You can always send me your article before final submission, will tidy the reference for you FOC. You should learn it, it is a big minus for postgraduate thesis.
I will, patience is my middle name I am also wondering the kind of mind Coogar has for him to enjoy and recommend this movie I actually enjoyed it. It is my type of movie, it doesn't get boring . Probably because while growing up, I had very poor skill with English, so I understood films better by more actions involving guns and swords than those movies they keep talking without raising a finger. I used to get lost with movies, hence my interest in movies that speak volume. Wild geese Sholay etc... I could analyse the films without understanding a single word spoken in English |
Re: Boys Night Out Discussions by coogar: 2:21pm On Jun 19, 2015 |
Kimoni: don't worry - you would get used to it. i have more movies to recommend. bellong: drug dealers have no emotions. see how he announced a free rent reward to anyone who kills the cops that invaded his property......crackheads took the mission like government work.
steven seagal's type of fight is known as aikido. he has the 7th degree belt in this kind of martial arts. i used to think he was a joke too till i read such style of fighting actually exists in japan - the motive is to break every bone & tissue of the opponent. |
Re: Boys Night Out Discussions by Kimoni: 2:22pm On Jun 19, 2015 |
bellong: Bellong, FOC I don't mind oooo I am starting a more detailed one currently, I will surely send it to you. But I ain't joking oo, are you serious?? |
