my sister in law when she got hers, said invites started coming in from august and she received in sept but that was about two years back. Also from those last year there was a delay but from what information being said i have not seen any invites coming as early as june but i may be wrong.

Lets keep hoping, praying. All we can do is wait. One way or the other it must come out

I thot they witnessed this change in govt b4 they called 4 the CBT. Trust me the list is being delayed for no transparent reason.

Bro, pls enough of this predictions and hear say abt the expected date of release. Amidst all these uncertainties, I just feel we should just try and be patient and hopeful on God alone. Truth be told; i don't think anyone here has concrete info....#no offense

If you read my previous post, I personally contacted some staffs of both venues they would likely use for the briefing and its unfortunate that they have not made any arrangement for the briefing anytime soon (month end).

To make things worse, the so called budget was rejected and had to be re-adjusted recently that's why things didnt go as planned.the MD is currently in abuja to do the needful.

The change slogan would have been in our individual conduct and belief, I wish to say thank you for your determined effort in character assassination of my integrity. I have wanted to post more update on the latest information which would have been vital to people awaiting their invitation, but the fact that some of you have resolved to bury me before my death and said all sorts of things that are not meant for animals talk more of human. I will like to use this opportunity to apologise to you all for the honest truth I told here which some of us misconstrued. I am really sorry for trying to help our I am not insensitive to our individual plight and ambitiousness is been invited. I am sorry for speaking out the truth, I am also sorry for ever posting my information here. I was only trying to give back to the landers what I gained. For some of you asking for my score, my score was not that perfect I got 46/50 and I wrote my test on Monday 11/05/2015. My interview was on the Tuesday 26/05/2015. I was the first person that entered the hot seat around 9am. I am also a PhD applicant with an offer of admission in Oxford University, England. The above clarification deemed it necessary based on your series of questions with respect to my identity. In all, I still maintained my initial posts and at the same time said that I am very sorry for posting them in the first place.

"We are still in the final stage of the process"
when I asked about the final list, He told me
"The list has not been released yet"
When I asked when list will be released, He said
"Soon"

obviously soon doesn't reveal anything new about the timeframe. But the point is,
The Final list has not been released.
If you've scored 50/50 answered all your interview questions correctly and happens to be the only one from your local govt, it doesn't matter because, You have to wait for the final list to be released.
It is possible that the list is ready
It is also possible that it has been approved
However, until it is released, scholarships cannot be awarded.

Not everyone believe in Jesus. so why should I be bothered about people believing me.
I am not part of the process, whether on NDDC side or on the prospective scholars side, I have no interest whatsoever.
in fact, I only asked because I had some other things to clarify with NDDC. I called them, they sorted it out and called me back.
So I simply relayed information about the current process I somehow manage to get on both occasions.

But in response to Ethene. How do you know its not transparent "especially this year" what verifiable evidence do you have?
That is a very serious allegation and should not be made casually.
If you have any reasonable allegation, grievance or even discomfort about the process, channel it through the proper means.
I remembered during the interview invite saga, people had reasonable complains and when channelled correctly, they were resolved.

we need information here. people who have 'sources' should help us out with latest happenings at nddc. Lest i forget. am new on nairaland and this is my first post. i have, however, been a following this thread on the sidelines. am from rivers state, live in lagos, wrote cbt on may 11, scored 38 and did my interview on 30th may at presidential. this introduction is necessary to pre-empt suspision. so peeps, help us wit info. what is delaying the invites for briefing or when should people expect to get invites.

The longer the delay, the more difficult it becomes for awardees to get visas to resume by sept 2015. nddc award is a partial scholarship; many scholars would still have to raise the balance and wait for 28 days for the money to mature in their accounts before they can apply for visas. i just hope they send invites soon.

Exactly what it is we need monies in our account for a minimum 28days in order to apply 4 visa. I know it will not be like last years scholarship and the list should be out soon. #ISeeJesus.

Every one will always be optimistic of success but if nddc fail to award you the scholarship what will you do? Won't you move on develop your career? Do not put all your hope in partial scholarship find something and do.. Keep yourself busy...
