Good morning to all the mamas, vigilante & my fellow pushers. I trust our LO's are kicking fine, though would want mine to kick more often as its always trilling to feel him move inside of me (the joys of pregnancy).
To the question that brought me here, I went for ANC on thrusday and after measuring me, Doctor cautioned that as I was entering my 3rd trimester, I should be careful of eating too much, so that baby won't be too big considering my petite size. I was a 50-51kg before pregs, and now a 54kg on last count. My question is, how do I maintain my weight without starving, seeing that DH complains that my biscuits & roasted yam isn't enough food?

No u can't do witout supplements. U mite want to switch to folic acid and fersolate, they r smaller dan pregnacare and easy to swallow. Pele, it wil end in praise

. Thanks so much, I got tired of folic acid too. I took it b4 I got pregnant upto d 12th week,then I stared with pregnacare and calcium.I just feel I've had enough @ 25weeks.

My dear, d impt thing is to eat healthy, dont eat for 2. More proteins, more vegs, plenty water. Lots of fruits too

Am 7weeks plus pregnant and am so glad I found this thread. Please I wanted to ask, I have been taking obron-6 and folic acid since I found out I was pregnant hope that's fine, and also the dosage of folic acid am taking is 5mg hope its fine too? Thanks

Congrats on your pregnancy! The folic acid dosage is fine you may also want to add a pregnancy vitamin, I think they have pregnacare in Nigeria if i remember correctly or Materna if your outside of Nigeria. You should take the preganancy vitamin throughout your pregnancy and even after birth when breastfeeding if you choose to do so. Safe and happy 9 months for you.

Evening mamas, congratulations to all the mamas that has put to birth, may the good Lord protect them. And to all "about - to-push mamas," it shall be easy for you in Jesus name.

Pls I need help and clarifications, am a FTM. I am 4 weeks gone, (Dr's calculations 6wks). But in the last two weeks the cramps was terrible and I came here to complain. But since the last 4days now, I had felt nothing so far! Eat normally, do my normal home chores and even sleeps conveniently on my stomach! Pls am scared o. I started pregnancare plus about same time but stopped cos I felt it's making me cramp. Pls, are my LOs safe? Am I safe myself? Is this normal has anyone experienced this?Pls I need your advice on the next step to take. Dh and I are so scared as we ttc for 2yrs
