[size=14pt]I am a staunch, unapologetic supporter of Nigeria's President, General Muhammadu Buhari. I look beyond tribal and religious lines in the interest of the nation. I've been with PMB since 2003 and have consistently campaigned and voted for him. As a former party member of the defunct CPC, the kind of joy that filled my heart to see him take the oath of office is unexplainable. Now, he is the President and Commander-In-Chief and a lot is on his shoulders. The kind of expectation that surrounded his emergence also cannot be over-emphasized. Many expected that on assuming office, he would take some decisive steps; even former UK Prime Minister, Tony Blair advised Mr. President to make some quick moves to reposition the nation. Nevertheless, at this time, it seems Nigerians have entered "One Chance", complaints here and there about PMB's epic slowness to make decision. Yes, Baba is slow in making necessary moves. I will not because of my love for Mr. President or my party allegiance not say the truth when it matters. All we've seen so far is PMB traveling from place-to-place and receiving myriad of visitors and more sickening, making his priceless VP literally redundant. Also, PMB since assumption of office have been touring the north and mingling with his purely northern clout, where are the Mamoras, Fayemis and Dabiris around him during the campaigns? Not once has PMB visited anywhere in the south since assuming office, a costly mistake GEJ made during his tenure such that it was too late for him to correct. I hope PMB is humble enough to learn. It appears Baba hasn't realized what he is into yet, we want a President that is proactive, involved and decisive, who will roll-up his sleeves and get his hands dirty. Enough of the talk, now you are there, get to work. If anyone wants to know what being proactive means, consult the Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Solomon Arase. Even Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai has showed to be at a higher level in leadership delivery and proactiveness than PMB at the moment.

Furthermore, President Buhari's lack of interest in little salient issues is unwelcoming. Playing 'clean', dilly-dallying and side-stepping on issues is unexpected of a leader. A leader must not be afraid to be involved and must take a position on issues. Even former President GEJ as clueless as some people claimed he was was always involved in issues and no matter what, he took a stand but unfortunately, it mostly turned out to be the unpopular stance. The simple issue that recently rocked the APC leadership clearly shows that just as the PDP, the APC is equally as unprepared for their status as the ruling party. The President ought to be a mediator, the respected figure whose voice cannot be declined, for now, that's not what PMB has showed himself to be. Former President Olusegun Obasanjo is the one playing his role on his behalf, voluntarily calling the APC house to order right under the watch of Mr. President. Such attitude indicates that PMB may be too careful not to step on people's toes, a factor that made Nigerians vote GEJ out of office in the first place. This also questions PMB's total commitment to tackle corruption headlong. As for those who still clamor for patience with Baba, well, I'm sorry to let you know patience has ran out. He's not the first President Nigeria would have nor the only President we'ld see in the world's history. Presidents have come and gone and we've seen Presidents in world history change the course of their nation within days, Late Lee Kuan Yew and Mandela are typical examples. The immediate past Uruguayan President, Jose Mujica is alive to help out and his story is there for all to read. Those are transformational leaders who were prepared and meant business. By now, a common proactive leader that is deft and means business would have done some basic foundational things, it seems PMB is unprepared for the job even as a former Head of State and a 4-time aspirant. If Late Gen. Murtala Mohammed was the President at this time, you and I know he most likely would have taken some key, expected, common sense decisions by now. Don't you know the popular phrase "Fellow Nigerians" and the phrase "With Immediate Effect" was gotten from Gen. Murtala Mohammed? Those phrases alone shows that Gen. Murtala was an involved leader who took quick decisive actions and carried Nigerians along. When it comes to being proactive and carrying Nigerians along, 'for now', PMB has failed. PMB has a 'Messiah' figure, a Messiah saves, delivers and takes action. A messiah is not a celebrity gallivanting from countries-to-countries receiving cheers or going from parlours-to-parlours. PMB spends more time in his celebrity state of mind than as a Commander-In-Chief. It is not too late for PMB to get his acts right. Therefore, I'm calling on PMB to roll-up his sleeves and get to work. Nigerians are not going to listen to any inspiring story after 4 years. I remain a fan of PMB, I'm just trying to make common sense.

Do the needful mods.

I think this is very true, i expected that buhari would have at least selected ministers, at least do something cogent because Nigeria at this point needs something urgent, urgent changes. Even if evidences of change might not be immediately significant, we need buhari to inspire hope, travelling all around, taking pictures in mosques does not cut it for many people at all..... We have been impatient as a nation for a while and he needs to understand this and get to work... Well done OP

Bullcrap! I was even reading the write-up, thinking it would make sense. When I go to where this piast wrote "Nigerians have entered onechance" I stopped. Stop deceiving people with 'I'm a staunch supporter of Buhari' because it's stale. A known protection seeker on this forum was once a 'staunch' supporter of Buhari as well albeit fake. You are a TANdroid!

I read it very well, I found no sense in it. When you see a man running around is either he's chasing something or something is chasing him. So PMB shouldn't be termed a "celebrity president" just yet. Me I so believe that there must be reasons he's going all the places. Never judge actions from afar you know.

Stop deceiving yourself Mate... You are a supporter of Buhari's opposition.... If you support the President as you claim, then you will have known all his programs and agenda hence his travels.... I really don't know the problem of Nigerians.

You had a Cool and always at home President, you complained that he was a quiet and Clueless man. Now you have a proactive and stealth one, yet you call him a tourist and sight seeing lover.... What a shame. Our priorities are really misplaced. And Please stop being hypocritical about your political allegiance Just to Garner pity from gullible populace like you.

Op thanks...folks like passingshot etc would rather drown with him than tell him the truth...because sycophancy is their trade and they have been consumed by the partisan spirit...

Be sure this is history repeating itself...

As head of state...there was an idiagbo who did the work...

As PTF boss...there was a salihijo who called the shots...

And now...we have osinbade who has trust issues with buhari...bearing in mind Jagabans handwriting all over him...so buhari kinsmen won't allow such happen bearing in mind the yar'adua episode...and battle for the soul of APC with 2019 in view and daily administrative shots and orders...

Let's enjoy the change Jare...

Why not attempt a counter on the content of this write up and shift your attention away from his party allegiance...

What has buhari been doing all these 12years of contesting for presidency?...

How many months since being declared winner that he can't garner even the nucleus of his team and cabinet?

Do you see the HUGE loss on investments in the capital market because investors don't know his policy direction and blueprint

Outside propaganda and phantom lies which Lai Mohammed is spearheading like his paper victory over insurgents even in the face of increased bombing; what or where is this government going

We cannot begrudge ur expectation in a nation plagued by crushing poverty. However, take nothing for granted. the 12million people who voted against PMB did so in spite of the very calamities you are expecting PMB to address. He is now the President of foes and friends alike. He must be careful. it was not a revolution that brought him in but democratic evolution. the millions who voted against him are praying daily for him to fail so they can be vindicated. some of these people will clog the wheel of progress once you are gaining momentum so as to deraill you on speed. At this moment Mr President is neutralizing the FATAL obtacles to a successful takeoff. Very soon we will all have access to the opportunities of a new commonwealth.

America has extended assistance and reestablished relationship with Nigeria on the fight against terror. Ditto European Union. There's some policy direction within the Multinational Joint Task Force on terror, with Nigeria retaking leadership responsibilities. The EFCC is suddenly gaining some traction; interrogating NNPC officials involved in the crude swap infraction. NNPC suddenly remembered that the refineries were built to refine hydrocarbons.
Buhari was the most scrutinized presidential candidate ever; and it worked in his favour eventually. He seems to be in line to exceed GEJ as the most criticised. Change is not about Buhari. It's about the personal commitment to do what is right. I'm eager to see things work but I'm willing to contribute my quota and patiently wait for the President to do his bit. A committee is working out how many ministries we should have and people want ministers appointed before we know how many offices are vacant. Change is about you and I

1)Did TAM start because Buhari was elected president?

2)MJTF leadership has always been from Nigerian military... so how did it suddenly become an achievement or part of policy direction?

3)What's buhaei development agenda or blueprint?

4)At what cost did USA and other European nations support come to us...because I know they were jilted by Jonathan for which they felt slighted and sort for his ouster using dangerous propaganda like used in Libya to oust gadaffi...At what cost are they supporting us?...Is it for us to cut ties with China?...or to accept European open bilateral trade agreement?... or repeal anti-gay law?...or allow their forces entry into west Africa soil?...or what exactly?.... because nothing is free even in freetown...

4)What has buhari done differently from what Jonathan did to show change or better leadership?
