If he wanted to visit his family, he could have as well gone 'silently', as he must have been doing before becoming speaker. It's not as if he went to thank the people of Bauchi for voting him as Speaker? undecided

I am happy for him, hope he does something for his people, he should not forget he is a Christian minority from an area in Bauchi state that is continuously experiencing ethnic cleansing although most people don't get to hear it in the news.

This is how Nigerians will keep celebrating this people and before you know a year would have gone. Nigeria conducted election before uk but when you come to UK you won't even notice if election was done of recent. If this is what democracy is all about, honestly is not worth it
