The fact that Nigeria's air force has to bomb criminal hideouts within it's own borders is sad indictment on all the previous governments' neglect of the NPF and the Navy. Moreover, there would have been no need to bomb BH hideouts in the north-east if the Nigerian governement had nipped the terrorist menace in the bud.

Why are they not bombing kidnappers in APC states? The reason is obvious, we didn't vote them, these are reprisal attacks by the North for Jonathans fight with boko haram.
Why are they not using same enthusiasm to fight boko haram? Why have boko haram suddenly become a force again?

According to the report, the militants carted away a large cache of weapons, blend that with the clamour for secession and you're left with a recipe for disaster. I strongly believe they were stockpiling arms considering the reported amount carted away.

some people are here commending PMB for multitasking n odas but the real motive behind using a fighter jet on a community n saying that were no collateral damage is really funny . amnesty international was here jabbering about human right laws n now people are okay with using fighter jet when such approach wasn't deployed in sambisa during GEJ and presently PMB tenure . its really a bad call.

Well, the prob i have with Nigerian govts is that they lack the ability to use high level security intelligence to address security problems in this country. It started right from OBJ era where he loaded military in lorries to kill people thinking that was going to address permanently the prob. it continued like that even the boko haram issue was approached via d same technique(the shooting and killing of muhammed yusuf) n we keep on seeing them using military in all such issues that require maximum intelligence gathering and networking to fix , and where are we today security wise? we all can testify that such approach has never helped us. PMB has again started with the same old unprofitable approach. Well we are here watching...

Buhari has said he will dump the CONFAB agreements into the dustbin.

As for me and my own corner of Nigeria, CONFAB approved a 50% derivation principle.What needs to happen now is a guerrilla warfare against oil pipelines, installations and personnel until the agreement is implemented.[/size]

All militants, kidnappers, and demented elements that think they can threaten Nigerians should either make good their threats, repent, or embrace the Hell-fire from the air.

Since my Uncle assumed office, the rate of bombing have intensified, even the America yesterday said similar thing. Stop the story, we need action.

yes! they carted away stockpile but they are basically criminals looking for how to continue the business of crime on the seas(bunker). but that other idea well is basically not it.I see it more of like wanting to bully the officers into doing nothing about crime but it backfired.

To stop Boko Haram, return regional government system with fiscal federalism to Nigeria.

To stop militancy in the oil producing areas and to stop secceniost group in the SE, implemen the recommendations of the last CONFAB, if Buhari doesn't want to return Nigeria back to regional government system with fiscal federalism..

I'm sure the innocent peace loving people of the areas being attacked are very happy about the long overdue military intervention in the security situation in their abode.

Meanwhile others who have no idea of what the innocent people of these areas go through in the hands of the pirates are busy speaking foolishly against the military intervention because they think this is about GEJ or tribalism. Foolishness stinks all over this thread. angry

And you believe that those asking for increased percentage from the resources from their back yard can be stopped by bombing.

It is as good as hoping to use bombings to stop your increasing desire to extend sharia criminal justice system and Islam to all of Nigeria.
Boko Haram says it's fighting for a country governed by sharia criminal justice system.

12 northern states since 2001 adopted use of sharia criminal justice system. Figure it out.

The painful thing is kidnapping that was hitherto used to draw fg attention to the plight of Niger Deltans have been turned to a lucrative business by some greedy few where they even kidnap and cause serious hardship to same ND families. If caught they all should be smoked.
