Fonty University.Bachelor.
I am not on any scholarship.
but i am asked to upload my sponsor bank statement and bank declaration on visacare website before approval of MVV.

Ok, i see they keep changing things consistently. Try to contact your university to see if you can skip that for the moment since you have paid Financial guarantee which shows enough fund for a year. Also see if your sponsor can contact the branch manager of his bank to see if he can get you the declaration without him been there.
This new changes isnt quite good, probably soon the IND will slash of the visa processing by the universities. When your visa is out, let me know so i can advise you on the scholarship. Goodluck bro.

Why do you take someone's issue so personal like this After all , you weren't in the conversation then.

Exactly what i thought, someone asked an awkward question since 2012, more than 2years since i finished issue of visa and years later he have to comment and for what reason. Well i guess he believe insults will get him faster to what he need.

Yes you can. Some Universities give full scholarship for some specific Msc courses. I remember 2 guys from Kenya who were given full scholarship, so you got to search. All the best.

Hello emmerks. I have also been accepted to Fontys. I would like to know if you had any problems because of the Bank Statement they ask for.
I have made the payment(Tuition fees, Visa application fees, insurance and deposit for IND) but I'm worried that they might decline my visa application because of the Bank Statement. Everything seems to be in order on my Bank Statement(three documents) but I would like to have some reassurance. I did the bank statement with the same money that I used to pay the school. I would like to know if that will be a problem.

@xkris11 and @pdesmond1 , I would very much appreciate your help as well.

Thank you everyone who contributed to this thread, it really helped me, but some of the regulations seem to have changed now.
Please reply as soon as possible. Thanks.

From what i have experienced so far, i dont think it will affect it your Visa. Once you were able to provide the deposit at first instance, it is that same statement that will be sent to IND by the school.

Yes you are right, most of the regulations have changed. Since you printed a copy of the statement of account before paying for the tuition, they might query for a new statement, their is high possibility that they will calculate the final balance of the statement of account you submitted and subtract the entire money you paid, and if the remaining isn't to the required amount, they might deny it or ask for a more recent bank statement. During my application, the school have full responsibility in ensuring the successful outcome of your MVV, unfortunately it isn't so as of now. The good news is that once your application is approved, you will be issued a Residence Permit that will last for the entire duration of your study, meaning that if you are coming for a Bachelor degree which have a duration of 4 years, then your Residence Card will bear a duration of 4 years. All the best.

Well the thing is that the statement can't be older than 3 months and mine isn't(just one week old). On the invoice they give the amount to pay and then they state that an additional proof of 6,000 euros is necessary. Maybe if they really needed that money to be in my account at all times they would add it to the refundable amount(3,500) that I was supposed to deposit on their bank account.

Pls, I ll like to know of its cumposary that d applicant most submit his own personal bank statement. what about a where d applicant is you using a sponsor? will d sponsor statement of account b enough?
And I thought the school is the one that ll apply for Visa on behalf of the student. and the student ll only pick it up at the nearest embassy?
Re: How Easy Is Getting Admission Into Netherlands Univeristies And Visa by zik4ever: 1:30pm On Jun 22, 2015
Anyone needing visa to the Netherlands will need to really apply early as in months ahead. The delay at Belgium Embassy to issue Schengen visas on behalf of the Netherlands is simply unbelievable.

pls, forgive me if this question as been answered b4, as d rule is always changing. pls must the applicant submits its own bank statements, or the person sponsors account is enough?

Is it the school still applying for visa on behalf of the applicant, or is it the applicant that apply themselves now.

Pls kindly answer this question if u know it
Thanks!

Well since you have submitted the statement, you just have to wait to hear from them. It usually takes 4-5weeks or so. Remember to have adequate plans in place for your finances before moving to Netherlands. Jobs for Non-Eu students is practically non-existant, except you speak good Dutch which I assure you is one of the most tongue twisting language. But quality of life, that I guarantee you is nothing but the very best.

Thanks for your insight pdesmond1. I don't plan on supporting myself via a part-time job, the hassle that the employer has to go through to hire me makes it almost impossible for them to hire me over a local(EU) student. I might earn some extra money online(I'm a programmer and I can already work remotely) or on some little projects if I have the time.
About the Dutch language, I am already learning it on my own and I'll try my best to practice it more over there, seeing that that will up my chances of getting a job after I graduate.

I will let you guys know how my process goes, so that the thread stays up to date with the current regulations.

My people una well done this is a very informative thread you have here.

I need your esteemed advice.

An uncle of mine resident in belguim is asking me to come over, he intends to pay for for my masters.

I was not able to get information about belgian schools on time . The only school I am left with is a private business school in antwerp which has a rolling application system .

My questions are :
Will paying an application fee of 200 euro guarantee me getting an admission from them ?

If I eventually get the admission and my uncle pays my school fees, how bright are my chances of getting a visa ?

What supporting documents can I submit on my own to back up whatever documents my uncle will be submitting ?

How favourable is belguim as per working and schooling ?
