dcitizen:thats my choice of course too...IRM. buh when i applied, German proficiency wasnt a requirement until I saw that they have updated their page yesterday. However, its still stated that u have up until end of the 1st semester to prove A1 proficiency and German Course(A1 level I guess) its in the curriculum of your 1st semester which invariably you must pass at the end of the semester. I dont kno how thz will be assessed, mayb a conditional Offer will be given until you pass the german course in ur 1st semester or its a requirement you must meet before any offer is given. Which ever way, I am already in my 2nd month (A1) in goethe, hopefully would b done by July. |

topbound2013: On this blocked account and many other issues. .... The thing I have observed here is that most don't bother reading the thread again. Some will claim they have but their questions always betray them. They just have a question and they just asked! Not minding or trying to find out if the question has been answered before. Apart from a few questions virtually all questions being asked now have been asked and answered many many many times earlier in the thread. Some of the problems this laziness is causing all of us are: 1. Many gurus and pioneers of the thread don't usually respond to questions again due to school/work pressure and most especially seeing that they have answered same question multiple times. Nobody likes being repetitive like a broken record. And this thread is losing a lot from their absence no matter what anybody say. Experience is experience, you "get it" you don't learn it. 2. The thread is rendered long, boring and repetitive (reason why most are finding reading it a herculean task in the first place) making reading cumbersome and time consuming! Both threads will soon total 400 pages if we continue like this. Reading 400 pages of anything is hardly an enjoyable task especially when you have repetition all over the place. We used to hear of spoon feeding and akamu but now there is plenty breastfeeding sef. Who's loss?! All of us especially those still coming. This thread has virtually changed people's lives and set them on the part to greatness. (I pray it will do same and more for the rest of us). Please let us use the thread for what is supposed to be used for- asking and READING. Let's read first then ask later. Don't ask before reading. It's saves you time (like in the above) and please believe me when I say 2 days can make the difference. Kindly refer people to previous page(s) if you know their questions have been answered. It makes the reading more fun, fascinating and enjoyable as it was for me when I first discovered these pages. Vielen dank! 1 Like |

dcitizen: You still have till the end of first semester to submit the certificate if you can't get it prior or during admission period. You can apply without the A1 but get it done when you get to Germany and submit it at the end of your first semester. Note: Engineering and management is under uni-assist while international retail management is not; you will have to apply to the school directly for IRM. Also, they need only 50 students for Engineering and management and the course is with restricted admission. it is only little percentage that was given to international student out of the overall 50 students needed. Finally, the course is not yet accredited because they just started the course this semester. Shalom |

Just playing around and saw this for that guy planning to born with his naija babe in Germany ... Children of foreign nationals take German nationality if they are born in Germany if, at the time of their birth, Germany has been the habitual, lawful place of residence of at least one parent for eight years and that parent has unlimited right of residence... Happy New Week to you all |

dcitizen: Whether u be babe or guy, I don't care ! What I know is that I LOVE YOU. I like it when Nigerians think like this. Abeg make I pm u jooooor, make we dey track each other progress. I just love you sha..... Haba ! My brains gyrated as I read ur post. I just read it again , I love u 1000 times Abeg make I save this page jooooorrr. |

GoldHorse: I just love you ! Kaaaiiiii if only u can see the love in my heart . Now my idea: Let's say one of or computer gurus ,design an app or a web platform linked with Nairaland interface where we go to update our progress. Let's say, I get applied to 5 schools, I go to the web solution and register my actions, and admission is offered I go there and select the schools that offered me admission. Then probably select the one I am going to. What this means is that as we click on a person's nairaland profile, there is a link that connects the person to the web to track progress. This will solve a lot of problem, no need to come here to ask for Nigerians in this sch or that school. All dis will be solved by a click on the search button. This web solution will have security details as nairaland,as u can only see info a person allows to u to see. And possible access to fellows will be made a lot easier. Indat u can pm the person and when the person accepts ur request, u get futher details and direct communication. But on the other hand u will be able to see 70% of every ones progress on the german move and the remaining 30% for private info like age, home address, direct mobile contact etc, blocked acct status lol ! Etc iff the person permits u to have access to such info ? This idea can be further developed. |

Walesby: An applicant. Though I have read so much about the city. If I can still found those links in my archive, I will post it here for you to read. My admission to the school has gotten to an advanced stage before I withdraw it and substitute it with another due to the restricted admission of a thing for my intending course. Shalom |

Justcul:Bro, got admission in university of Bremen, how's Bremen via hustling? opportunities dey? I sent u P.M, let's relate more pls. One Love! |
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Justcul(m): 5:23pm On Jun 21, 2015 |
ogompaul: saw ur pm, but sorry i cant reply due to personal stuff.. Bremen is a good place to live and hussle as anywhere in Germany. just try and learn basics of the language and God shall take care of the rest. Bremen is a nice place, mark my word! I will do my best to make sure you get on smoothly, before your departure let me know. my 2 euros! 2 Likes |

Justcul:wow!!!, I'm happy to hear this. do u know I've started sending more applications to schools in Baden wurtternberg? simply because most ppl said that Baden wurtternberg = hustling nd u know nah. how's that university (uni. of Bremen)? how's it rated nd all that. again, I may be using sponsorship letter due to impromptu changes, hope it doesn't limit my chances of securing Visa in any way? Thanks a lot Bro, God bless. |
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Eke40seven(m): 5:47pm On Jun 21, 2015 |
amahtrendy:That is exactly what I posted in my reply I never wrote about applications in the way you understood it. I wrote that you can write the exam as an external candidate for 12k or thereabout but you will need to prepare thoroughly if you would only do self study. There are online tests you can do to know how prepared you are. check this webpage to know the next time they will write the exams at Goethe. https://www.goethe.de/en/spr/kup/prf/wwt.html |
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by Justcul(m): 5:50pm On Jun 21, 2015 |
ogompaul: You can google about the university yourself. Sponsorship doesn't limit your chances of getting a visa, infact, it increases it they will nack you 2 years visa sharp sharp! But bro, decision on where you will study/reside/husstle is solely YOUR's to take. Take care and best wishes as you prepare for this life changing journey! I must admit, there maybe more opportunities in Baden compare to Bremen but in bremen, you will find something to do. as always, my 2 euros! 2 Likes |

Please house how much will authenticating all documents cost and lawyers fee, please I need it ASAP as I will be going this week to do mine,or anyone with page to my question should kindly refer, |
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by stevemims(m): 11:40pm On Jun 21, 2015 |
Obinnio:If you're authenticating(like you said) documents for admission @ the embassy i think its for free. All you need do is go very early,if you're going for the blocked account you don't need to authenticate anything just go there with your admission letter/offer. Them ogas will throw more light on this if i'm wrong. Cheers 1 Like |

Is there anybody sending documents by nextweek, I can help that person to help myself share cost. We put our documents together, send via the fastest and most reliable courier service to my contact in Germany. Once she gets it, she dispatch it to the different schools immediately with (2 days delivery within germany). This is for people sending to more than 1 school and you all know there is less than 20 days to deadline for WS. That is how am sending mine by nextweek and any interested person can send me a PM |

Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by stoicism: 2:11pm On Jun 22, 2015 |
victz: I have asked here and was told to come with 22K just for a piece of paper in the name of criminal record character. My plan now is to travel down to Lagos hoping that I can get it for a far cheaper price and probably the same day. Thanks for your reply bro |
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by victz: 2:22pm On Jun 22, 2015 |
Nigerians and exploitation. It's better you come over to Lagos (Alagbon) to do it. Police report won't take more than 2 hours. It's won't cost more than N5K, depending on your bagaining skills. stoicism: |
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 2 by uchezdedon(m): 2:44pm On Jun 22, 2015 |
victz: Even ur state headquater will also come 2 alagbon police station to do that and it will also take u abt 2weeks 2 get it. I could remember when I did mine was 3k in alagbon. It only took me 1hr. NB: police report is valid 4 only 3months. |
