In 1967, the British amalgamation threaties was still binding on every segment of Nigeria. Hence international diplomacy which often determine emmergence of nations, backed up a one united Nigeria. This is 2015. The times have changed. We may not like to hear it. But the amalgamation has expired. Let not Nigeria push her luck to far. Force cannot now be used to keep Nigeria as one. When the process is complete, the international forces that kept Nigeria as one in 1970, may set in for a referendom. Nigerian armed forces may not have to bother, as the international community has enough arms to implement the resolutions. As a mather of urgency, the just concluded national constitutional conference report has to be implemented, for harmony to abound. After all, we are one, we are brothers.

No smart Igbo man who reasons properly will be talking of Biafra at this point in time. For starters apart from Okada men and traders who else is repping Nnamdi kanu.? The Nigerian army will make a mince meat of any clown that joins this idiocy. Our people have suffered enough. Go and read General Alexander Madiebo the Biafra Army commander s book on the war and you will understand the magnitude of destruction our people suffered.
Show me any man who witnessed the war talking about Biafra again. Only young smart businessmen like Nnamdi KANU are milking Igbo clown abroad and smiling to the bank.
The Biafra project has indeed become a gold mine to smart fraudsters and conmen.

What is this one yapping about? Noisy coward. IRead Madiebo a million times and I only learnt what they did wrong that should be corrected. Ready for the struggle. May chukwu Ahbiama strike dead that igboman tht is read to accept fulani-yoruba attempts at internal colonialism without a fight.

I also see great army springing up sophisticated weapons. And that will be from the oil producing states. They will be more fierce and dangerous than Boko Haram. Don’t forget the issue of chemical weapons.

Bola Ahmed Tinubu should pray that he might finish the political fire he started especially in Lagos to the end. The reason is that even the might of the mighty can be broken.

Primate Olabayo’s shocking predictions About 2015

In the New Year, we will never see Boko Haram again but insurgency will come in another form. We should pray against religious and ethnic wars in this country.

Apostle Perez Iyiola Oluyem, founder of Achievers Rock Commission International Ibadan

A man from the South East of Nigeria, specifically, of Igbo extraction shall become the Nigeria’s messiah and lead the nation away from an oil dependent economy to a heavily industrialised nation of the world, when Nigeria will be made a great cynosure of the entire globe fulfilling her place and purpose in God’s great destiny for her as a nation, which the devil had fought for too long a time by civil war and the likes.
A messiah is coming! The Messiah that no Saul shall be able to stop.

FYI the southeast have more than enough oil deposit for its local consumption and export if left alone.as a matter of fact during the height of militancy must oil activities were mainly in the southeast.

the Biafran struggle as far as Igbos are concerned is not about oil,it is actually the Nigerian state that is making it an oil issue.

you have to know that all these Biafra thing came to the fore just after the elections because of the way the Igbos were treated simply because the chose to vote a particular candidate of their choice.go and check the threads created immediately after the elections, you will cringe at the all insults directed against the Igbos simply because GEJ lost,a trend that continued until after the NASS election inauguration .one can only imagine what could be happening had it been that their god tinubu did not succeed .we can not continue to lie to and decieve ourselves that Nigeria is a nation because it is not.

I believe it would have been easier for igbos to actualise their biafra if to say they did not give up during civil war.

But now their main problem is SS region because SS now has oil and will not allow igbos to master them, and now SS has more power and rich people than igbos. The only option for igbos is if they got oil and SS trust them.

But me personally I don't see anything that Nigeria will loose if igbos go, but is always stronger togather.

I feel a deep sense of grief and bewilderment when I read a lot of misguided comments from my Igbo brothers with some calling for a violent secession from Nigeria. Most of the generation of people making these statement never witnessed the civil war. They did not see first hand the horrors of war. They did not experience the terrific impact of bombs or the loud ear splitting sounds of heavy artillery shells as the explode. Should I talk about the economic impact? How our people were reduced to paupers and had to start from the scratch. How beautiful daughters were forcefully torn from the warm embrace of their families and married off to leprous men in the North just to spite our people. Only a mentally deranged and prone to self destruction individual will ever in his life support a violent secession from Nigeria.

Our problem is not secession. Our problem is learning how to live with other tribes in harmony while doing our businesses. Our focus should be on how to build consensus across the nation for vital political interests.

I laugh heartliy when I see some misguided Niger Delta youths like barcanista and co trying to be clever by half by playing to our sense of entitlement. Speaking from both sides of the mouth about how our people are being pushed aside and marginalized.
Yet these are the same people that effectively sabotaged the Biafran struggle under Ojukwu. These are the same people that lead the enemy in through our backyards and betrayed their so called brothers. Now they have started a new song because their brother Jonathan who performed woefully was booted out by majority of Nigerians.

I want us to know sometime that is historical. The moment an attempt is made to secede, the I jaws will immediately turn their backs and negotiate us away to advance their interests. So we will end up alone fighting the whole of Nigeria and loosing again.

When the chips are down, we are always alone.

Another point to consider is that Nigeria has become too intergrated to break up. Almost every family has in laws across their tribe. How will that be handled?

Igbo are the most integrated people in Nigeria with business interests across the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria. Most of our people will become jobless or stay and be killed the moment a secession is declared.

Those who knew the truth will tell you that even inside Biafra there were still serious cases of tribalism and nepotism, even under the revered Ojukwu. That was why ahiara declaration became necessary to tackle these issues.

Finally, we are not ready militarily and would only be engaging in another massive waste of life if we insist on our ways.
So my people do not be deceived! Our best and only bet is to remain as law abiding citizens of Nigeria while doing our best to continue to be relevant in the scheme of things.
Ka Chineke mezie okwu.

They bitterly hate the Igbos and indeed the southern minorities and would want them to leave Lagos etc and go stay in their own country!

But in contradiction to their true feelings, they don't want Biafra because they want to perpetuate their right to collect the lion share of the oil resources sourced from the same peoples land, using the bogus criteria they foisted on the country called Nigeria.

Without oil in Igboland and Southern minorities part of Nigeria, Yoruba and Hausa/Fulani would have long seceded from Nigeria. FACT! [/size]

This is refreshing. Our people needs to tell ourselves the truth. We have a lot of investments in the north and Yorubaland and even the south south. After the last war our supposed Biafra brothers the I jaws in Rivers state seized our properties and termed it abandoned properties
These clown here still fail to learn their lessons.
The time of civil war is a time for other tribes to advance ahead of us. Many are praying for Biafra eyeing Igbo properties in their area and hoping we secede.

No. The British came for exploitation , and in North they found a people used to exploitation of many by few, a docile population that is very yielding to subjugation and exploitation by self imposed leaders. So they chose them, cos they can easily carry out their exploitation program using them.

But in Igboland, they found a group of people so resistant to exploitation, that they had perfected a system of democracy and mini republics that functioned efficiently.

It dawned on them that this group of people will not yield to their exploitation plans. Hence they sought to crown the docile ones( North) over them.

But the Igbo spirit will not rest until it's free, for it knows nothing but freedom.

Q.E.D
Your comment closes this thread for me.
Igbos are black republicans, that's why you'll never see any strong traditional ruler like an Oba in their land. They believe in "Power to the people", and a level playing ground for all.
I am praying against any violent uprising (God forbid), but it may become inevitable if they believe that the country will never provide that level playing ground.
