This yoruba bank want to cripple this Igbo man...things like this makes me mad. I have no doubt they did it intentionally...to cripple his business as the first indigenous automobile manufacturing company in Nigeria. Innoson move your funds to Igbo run banks my friend...Zenith, Diamond and Fidelity! This is common sense! Yorubas are very envious and wicked minded people...implacably wicked! What sort of wickedness is this...

We should stop being sentimental. Nigerian custom seized and auctioned Innoson's goods, the company is just angry with the bank for freezing its account and ask it to pay the sum of #559 million.

Why hasn't Innoson sued the Nigerian customs for auctioning its good instead of the bank ?

So, after reading that, u re still myopic.

* what biz does gtbank have with innoson and customs to warrant them into freezing his account?

* let's assume, innoson imported substandard goods( we all knew he didn't , seizing it was all politics, if u are not conversant wit that very case, please go back and read up). And then the NCA seized it and then auctioned it.

*apparanlty, INNOSON was still challenging their actions in the law court for treating him so bad.

*wat is the connection between the legal battle between the NCA and INNOSON that warrants GTBank to freezing his accounts? Was his account also being auctioned?.

* oga please, I am an itibolibo, but please enlighten me the more, u know say, "no knowledge is a waste, and I am willing to learn from you"

Thanx

Same thing they did to HITV to kill it

HITV were the ones that destroyed themselves.

They started by assuming every Nigerian watches cable TV because of premiership and Champions league. Of course...that is not true...and that caused problems for them.

Judging by d comments here, I begin to believe Igbo people need serious deliverance from naivety, emotions, inferiority complex (always playing victims), bigotry, hatred, tribalism and primitive mentality.
I'm getting sick of these things already... Nigeria needs to move forward, but can't if we are still like this.

I read the op and I didn't see any tribe mentioned. All I saw was custom, innoson ltd, GTB, and courts. the original case is btwn innoson and customs.

Oga you are the sentimental one here. Innoson obtained a judgment asking GTB as a third party to pay him approximately 2billion from the Nigeria Customs Service account domiciled in GTB.NCS did not object to nor appealed the ruling. Why did GTB refuse to obey the judgment? They rather froze Innosons account. This led him to go to court against the bank and obtained judgment for the transfer to be made with the consequent interests. Innoson as a business man goes back to court to seek damages upon these delays and that culminated in the 30billio naira suit.

Only fools commit the crime they condemn in the course if doing so. Why generalize? Why not call out the tribalists without their tribe being focused on. You are a resident bigot, hiding under this reprimand to vent perpetrate yours

I like the way innson is going about this, since GTB dont want to pay 2 billion from NCS account, they will definately pay 30 billion from their own account.

I don't see the suprime court doing other wise. Its a clear case,
U cant cease my goods and Auction it. For auctioning the goods, it means it wasn't a bad product.

Hahahah I trust supreme court.

I lost interest when I saw this

* let's assume, innoson imported substandard goods( we all knew he didn't , seizing it was all politics,

Imagine someone asked why Gtb refused to pay Innoson from NCS account as ordered by a high court thereby calling it a disobedience of court order by Gtb as if the bank doesn't have a right to appeal at both the court of Appeal and Supreme court.

The sue case will not stand until the supreme court hears the two appeals made by Gtb. I ask again, why is Innoson jittery when the court is yet to decide ? A federal high court ordering Gtb to pay doesn't mean it can't approach the court of Appeal and Supreme court for an appeal.

When i tell 'one nigeria' apostles of Igbo extraction that we can only reach our full potential outside this evil country, some will say i'm worrying for nothing and being paranoid!

For fuc/ks sakes we are surrounded by wicked, jealous, evil people that don't wish us well and want to hold us down! Now that they've regained control of Aso Rock, they'll continue from where they left off when GEJ came into office; they'll continue to sabotage Igbo interests......mostly by stealth, without us knowing where or how the attacks are coming!

I've woken up and smelt the coffee......others should too!

If it is not FIRST BANK, ZENITH OR UBA. Nothing Broda.

I don't bank with flashy names.. Empty skull bankers going to court anyhow lowering their corporate profile.

A bank like UBA will settle such a customer out of court than have its name tarnished in endless suits.

Omg, did you think with your arrse or you are sentimentally influenced to comment before reading ? Damnit

I'm not your problem, English language is your problem m.o.r.o.n

You have faulted yourself again. You previously said that "That case HAS NOT YET BEEN DETERMINED by the courts and then here you are showing us the part where GTB appealed and appealed again?

The two appeals have been OVERTURNED by both the Court of Appeal and the Supreme courts. Is the rejection of the appeal by the 2 courts NOT A DETERMINATION? What is left is for GTB to go ahead and pay as ordered by the court!

So there you are. You have finally proven that you did not smell the walls of any educational institution from Nusery to tertiary level.

Go and join your colleagues at Oshodi fly-over bridge who load Danfo with sticks and rods! Illiterate!!
