VictoriaBee: This is not vicky talking, this is the aftermath of an expired weed. Do you know the meaning of a slùt? You have to know the meaning of a word before you throw it around carelessly. Olu Jacob and Joke Silva have been married for over 30years. And in the course of ACTING, they've kissed. How does this make them slÙts? Have you caught them sleeping around? What sort of argument is this? Do you know what it's ACTING? In movies, people ACT, it's not who they are. They improvise to entertain viewers. Regina Askia was either a thief or runs girl in Glamour Girls (correct me if I'm wrong), have you ever seen her in real life robbing a bank? Vicky, stop this weed, you are embrassing yourself. 7 Likes |

cococandy: dumb or immature? there is a difference. you know females develop faster. cococandy: so you are saying you prefer getting into wedlock with a man older & more experienced than you right?. we are still on the same page. from my observations & probing researches, I came up with an hypothesis which states that- majority of the females feel inclined & prefer getting married to a man older than them, because as the weaker species the need to hide & get shielded under the wings of a capable protector is natural & biological. so how you be equals with your protector? this is why i believe- all males & females are equal but males are more equal ✘ 5 Likes |

wonderwoman is an animated & subliminal feminism movement & evangelism medium . she is also known as Princess Diana of Themyscira I'm using the storyline of wonder woman as a template this time around. wonder why most people accuse feminists of being lesbians? - here's an excerpt- the Amazons would visit the Gargareans (a neighbouring tribe comprised of all males) annually in order for their tribe to survive the generations. Only raising the female children, the male children would be cast out or killed. she does have roots in the isle of Lesbos. isle of lesbos (a contemptuous term for lesbians) it is also called -Island of paradise. note that i grew up reading & drawing comics . i remember my mum had to practically debar my younger sister from watching the series after deciphering the hidden & encrypted message. hehe. we didn't understand then though. i mean -a young girl growing up watching this & getting the wrong impression that men are evil, plus she sees an island filled with women & no single man, & yet you don't think it is likely she becomes a lesbian as well?. that is not the point i wanna make anyway. my question is this- why do women incessantly complain about their degrading objectification & why men see them as mere sex t0ys when they always portray themselves as one? wonderwoman is meant to be the model woman right? yet see how she's scantily dressed. ✘ 4 Likes 1 Share

Lol,funny I never knew the word "feminism" existed until I started staying more on Nairaland. In real life,I have always known a man and a woman should be of help to each other in marriage. A man can cook likewise a woman, both can do the housechores, either of them can pay houserents and other utilities. Both should have listening ears and consider each others feelings. A man shouldn't discard his wife's opinions likewise a woman should respect her man's opinion. These and many other things like mutual understanding, respect, submisveness, humility, love, patience and care are what make coexistence peaceful between couples. If some men term the above feminism then there is a problem but if there is another meaning to feminism outside the above then feminists are on their own. All the same, everyone should learn to respect each others opinion and perspectives,we were not brought up this same way plus we do not live in the same environment. 2 Likes 1 Share |

naijababe: Kimoni: My husband will disagree You don't want to see me when I start my ijogbon its an entirely different side that I must admit I hate showing up. Cos my mother calls it Sango anger when it does show up If me and someone fight ,most people who know me will take my side without even hearing the story because they know for me to fight you, you deserve it I can give people verrrrrry long rope but once I have had it I burn the rope. I wont waste those fighting skills on NL. I need it to win more important battles for me in Life Besides its meant to be an anonymous forum so why I go dey waste my time fighting someone I don't know? Whose persona might be mileeeees way from what they potray here. That said I think the issue a lot of people have on NL is that they believe that everyone should have the same thought process as they do. We all have different orientations and thoughts on issues. All the endless arguments( make I no lie sha some of them are quite hilarious and make good comic relief on stressful days at work ) have still not made all the NL feminists non feminists and the non feminist feminists so its pointless in my own opinion. 2 Likes |

Vyolet: don't mind them. they are all fakers trying so hard to be western-esque by all means. the rate of gender discrimination in this country is infinitesimal, thus, their activism defeats the purpose. that's like Obama taking a bullet for the secret-service or a freeman vying for emancipation. what's the point of feminism in Nigeria when there is minimal rate of gender discrimination?. if for anything, the womenfolks are even treated preferentially & somewhat over-pampered. even on social media a woman racks up to a kabilion likes for her photos & well, you know the story ain't the same for the males . is that not gender discrimination against males in the visual-world? if you notice, it's only jobless people like mrschima & victoriabee that are fully involved in this pettifogging ✘ 6 Likes |

Darkrebel666:It sounds funny how you give example of gender discrimination with liking of photos on social media,(lemme believe that's you kidding). Gender discrimination has always been men's game right from time especially in a typical African setting, women are not allowed to participate in decision making among others. It is alright these days as women have been given equal opportunity to do what men are doing,it is now left for her to utilize it properly without being rude or forcing her ways on others. |

cupidhero: that's for you to find out. nud1ty was a recurrent theme in the wonder woman series. the comics code authority was formed in 1954 by the comic association of america as an alternative to government regulation,to allow the comic publishers to self-regulate the content of comic books in the united states. this code banned graphic depictions of violence and gore in crime and horror comics, as well as the sexual innuendo of what aficionados refer to as good girl art . my point is-it was possible to have the images of semi-unclad women in your comics due to the independence of the association of cartoonists & artists before this association was formed in1954. wonderwoman first appeared in all star comics in 1941. it wasn't until the 21st century before the comics code was readjusted. search for the origin of wonder woman on Youtube & watch. ✘ |

VictoriaBee: For the last time, I will educate you. You don't know how the entertainment industry works. If attaching the term feminist to her resume will make her sell more ticket and records, so be it. I.e: She woke up some weeks ago to say she's vegan, only for her to admit she still eats meat some days later. She took the carter name when it was most comfortable for her and for the growth of her career. I can't take her seriously. I like Beyonce. I like her style (sometimes) and I like most of her music. Is she a dynamic and successful artist? YES. She is amazing in her own right. I have two great examples of Black women who transcended gender and racial stereotypes yet still had their own sexual power – Josephine Baker and Zora Neale Hurston. If you are a feminist or a woman who cares about women and you don’t know about these amazing powerhouse females, you are truly missing out. 5 Likes |

Vyolet: what do you mean? Is that not gender discrimination against men in the visual-world? or do you think we males don't have feelings or what?. Vyolet: yet in some parts in Ghana(Ashanti) men bear the names of their wives. have you read Asare Konadu's- A woman in her prime(Pokuwaa). not all parts of Africa discriminated against females. yes i agree there have been gender discrimination in the past due to ignorance, but it has been cut down with the emergence of western education & it is currently at its nadir in Nigeria. I'm not talking of Pakistan or Iraq this time around. case closed:- all wannabe feminists in Nigeria should drop their bayonets & clubs & return home in peace as their husbands have been waiting for them ✘ |
