barcanista: You are the ignorant party here Bro. Buhari claimed he met an empty treasury which means all the money accrued to the FG from the federation account ( from Jan - May) had been spent by the outgoing government of GEJ and instead of leaving money behind in the federal account for the running of the FG programs, he was left with an empty account. The minister that tried to debunk his claims only refer to the monies which ordinarily should be in the federation account because the money he was referring to belong to all the tires of government until they share the money according to the sharing formula, the money in those accounts (ECA, SWF, FIRS etc) you and the Ex-Minister quoted belong to every tiers of the government and they are not FG's money. Federation account is like a family account which you as the head or tail of your family can't claim to be yours until shared while federal govt account is like your personal money which your family members can't its ownership with you. |

Also I did not accept your offer of ewa made earlier, so thankfully my brain is not contaminated by beans. See you on a more interesting thread much later, or when another quota is achieved tomorrow. Hopefully there will be something to write earlier in the day before it gets too close to deadline. |

You are not making sense. Whatever allocation that goes to the FG account is used to fund FG budgetary programs. How do a sane person expect Jonathan to "save' money in the FG Acccount that accrued between January and May when the FG need to pay salaries, fund projects, and carry out statutory function? Do you think monies accrued to FG account is for "safe keeping"? Where do you expect FG under GEJ to fund programs? Don't you know that the monies accrued to FG is shared to MDAs in line with their budget? The only Savings Accounts are ECA/SWF and external reserve. That is what should be our "treasury". Btw: when I say FG account I don't mean Federation Account. Both are different and I KNOW that! Alphaoscar: 4 Likes |

Whynotthetruth: Can the CBN claim money in UBA or Zenith bank account as its own because they are all account? Can you claim your family property as your property until that property is shared because it is called property? All you Tanoids are ignorant including that your stup1d Ex-Minister. No wonder the state Governors always accuse the FG under GEJ of stealing from the ECA. |

barcanista: So If Buhari says the treasury is empty will he be referring to the federal account that he has jurisdiction over or the federation account where his claims can be easily refuted by opposition governors who are privy to the balance? Use your deductive reasoning and stop spamming Nairaland with your nonsense. You think you are smart but you really aren't. 1 Like |

StOla: I just look at you deranged sycophantic hypocrites and imagine what life you're living...it is quite pathetic... I would not engage you in inanities any longer... Shift your attention to issues not gossips or rants... Does buhari ever think before talking at all?...why is his government full of movements back and forth?...does he think through his decisions at all?...why do they come out half baked?...does he understand that campaigns are over?...does he remember that he is on a timed mission?...does he know that leadership is about solving problems not shifting blames or inventing excuses?...does he know the meaning of treasury?...why is he contradicting himself always |

barcanista: Meeeehn, you are the one not making sense here Bro. Ask yourself why most of the new Governors including your wike have been making noise that they met empty treasury when those Governors paid salary, execute projects etc? FYI, the FG's share from the federation account is paid into the federal Government account and that money is not meant to be whole spent or exhausted month in months out. Incase of emergency after the sharing of the monthly allocations where did you think the money to attend to that emergency will come from if their is not suppose to be savings? The budget you are referring to cover a whole year not a monthly thing and the revenues are supposed to be managed to fund that budget throughout the year not on monthly basis. Meeehn!!! NA wah for you o. 1 Like |
