notobs: Akwa Ibom people are very religious so every thing is about God . Akwa Abasi Ibom = means the Most High God in English. So the name of the state is the most high God State. So ibom = Most High, hence all the ibom this ibom that. simply means most high hospital, most high airport, most high hotel etc LOL 3 Likes |

Sowell25:It is this hatred and tribalsim that will kill you. How did Akpabio marginalize oron people? minister of science and technology Prof. Ewa = Oron , minister for housing Mr Eyakenyi = Oron all the ministers that Akpabio recommended for jonathan and FG for the 8 yrs he was Gov were all from Oron? why are you not complaining about that was oron the only LGA or was he obligated to do that? Go and check the annals of GEJ the same day the FEC approved the maritime university in Okerenkoko Delta state he also upgraded the maritime Academy oron to a Degree awarding institution, The ijaws wanted the maritime university from jonathan he capitulated you should thank Akpabio for the upgrade of MAN Oron. The airport is in uruan, Nsit atai and Okobo LGA's and not in anyone LGA just the same wayThe Ibom Seaport is in Ibom industrial city that covers ibeno, esit eket, mbo, urefong oruko and udung uko LGA You perish for lack of Knowledge. Stop lebelling me as aniekan umana you don't know me i may even be more oro than you! 4 Likes 2 Shares |

Sowell25:Where are oron people seceding to if i may ask?and when did you arrive at your conclusion that Ibibio and Annang are enemies of Oron people? when did one man Akpabio become a whole ethnic nation, there are more ibibios and Annang people fighting Akpabio than oron people. calm down bro and stop the hate separate politics from ethnicity and identity. So your reaction to Akpabio marginalization of oron is for you to build a company and marginalize Ibibio and annangs? what will that solve? more marginalizations? you are so immature. Oron has hosted the National museum for decades what benefit has it brought to oron? even the Federal road that leads to that museum has not been fixed in the past 30 years, the state museum in Uyo which by the way am proud of because of its architectural design and beauty being an architect myself is nothing to be ashamed of, its our state museum just like Uyo is our state capital, we Oronians must be proud of whatever is in our state no matter where it is sited after all its our oil money that was used in building it. the uyo museum belongs to oron more than the oron museum belongs to us. next time you stop at oron museum please find out how many oron people work there and compare that number to oron speaking people in Akwa Ibom State ministry of culture and tourism the operator of the Uyo museum and you will know the difference. 3 Likes |

Sowell25: My wife is from iduasang does that mean i hate all my lovely inlaws? and for your information all my kids speak oron and spend more time in oron than they do in my ibibio homeland, so how does that make me hate oron? You are sick, Hatred is the leading cause of cancer incase you did not know. 3 Likes |

This piece of news should be a cause for celebration by every Akwa Ibom person and Nigerian for that matter. instead of this bickering, Akwa Ibom is blessed we have many suitable sites for seaports in fact 12 local Govt in our state can support a seaport ie Ikot Abasi, Eastern obolo to ibeno to mbo, Udung uko. okobo, oron, uruan, itu, eket, onna etc we are surrounded by water and have several sites and i hope with time many more of this sites will be developed. Akwa Ibom state has the longest uninterrupted/continuous coastline in Nigeria. lagos had tin can and apapa port today they are building two more ports in lekki and badagry,Port harcourt has the port harcourt port and onne seaport, I see more seaport in the future of Akwa Ibom. but today we must celebrate not bicker as our first seaport that is slowly drawing close to actualization. @sowell24 take note. |

^^^^ No one is keeping a tribalist like you from seceding , am very sure you do not represent the view of the majority of oron people only the fringe Robinson uwak hate movement. Senator nelson effiong, mrs Akon Eyakenyi ,victor Antai etc and other oron leaders will disagree with your view. |

engrkenny: He is an exception, he is one of the APC disgruntled element that hates PDP and Akpabio who feels it is the turn of LGA does not produce the State governor. And since it is not happening he has switched to hate mode. |
