Similar issue with GTB, they ask me to wait for 5-8 working days, this is day 2.

GTB charged me twice for the cost of my Internet key delivery. It's nearly two years now and I have not had my refund. I feel so taken for a nothing. I however decided I ll write the CEO. Thereafter I will instruct debt collectors to recover my money and that ll include invoicing them for every min and money lost in chasing this money.

Just insist that you NEVER withdrew the said N2,000 and that if this issue is not sorted by the bank since you did not make any withdrawal from the bank, that you will go to the media print and also AIT and Channels to report this case. Too, inform them that you will contact a lawyer to this effect. Since they said that it was your ATM, they should provide the video since every ATM machine supposed to have a hidden camera.

That you have now suffered psychological trauma over this issue and will seek legal redress and anything spent must be paid by the bank.

It is the bank that took the money. Insist and call for your statement of account to note the time of the said withdrawal.

I have been frauded twice by this same bank in the last 3months.I was suprised to even meet 2 other people with the same problem at d bank.it took me 2months to get my full money back. God punish access bank,I don withdraw all d money commot

Something similar happened to Mii some times last year when I tried funding my GTB mobile money account using my ATM. The money was deducted from my account but my mobile money wasn't credited.

Eco bank is bad, dey charge me 201every month, without widraw any money for like a year, and d account is only savings

Thats total nonsense. Mine was the issue of not receiving money and I was debited, went to the bank several to,we to complain, up to till dis moment, I haven't gotten an alert regarding it, and that was my last change in my account then. I wish I can sue them

Zenith bank did same to me in 2009.....10k vamoosed frm my account...... And they claimed I withdrew it on unity road in Kano...... I have never bn to kano in my life....I shouted called them names..singbain I never c till today... I blvd my card was cloned then sha..

my dear if it was fraud then your account will be cleared by now. request to know which branch it was withdrawn from then request for the video.note that all atms have cameras
did the narration state atm with drawal?ensure its not reversal effected on your account wrongfully by way of atm reversal which is normally done manually whereby theres a dispense error.

get all your facts before making a case.i also advise you go to another branch to report but dont let them know you had earlier on reported in another branch so as to hear their own excuse and see if it corresponds.

Access bank is no bank. Just got cleaned up prostitutes chasing dudes for their monies.

One account shared by two customers..!! They should fire half of the IT staff for that mistake and put the remaining half on probabtion. If you didn't witness it first hand, I probably won't believe it.

Okay, now first if the money was done with a withdrawal slip you have to request for the withdrawal slip from the control office, to confirm who raised the money. this would require going to the bank constantly.
If it was an atm withdrawal, then you would need to have the particular atm machine. The issue of photos taken by atm machines does not happen with all atm machines . so this would be difficult to prove.


When i was in the bank we had a similar case of an account number being shared by two people unknowingly, the lady came into the bank, asked for her account number, and her name was used to search the account number out, she then went ahead to withdraw the money , on getting to the teller, she was told her account signature was not right, she then went to the customer service officer, who showed her the signature on the account, since it was a old account, there was no photo (2007 account). So she just took the money and started withdrawing from the account, this was before phone alerts.

Diamond bank tried it with me but I raised hell and it was sorted out. Depositors watch your banks. No fraud can occur be it at NNPC or Senate without connivance if a bank.

If it were other banks like GTB and Diamond Bank the 5k would have multiplied at AP progression. I won't even encourage my enemy to bank with Access Bank. I discourage my customers from banking with them. Even if they want to make any payment through, I don't buy the idea.

ATM withdrawals or most withdrawals tell you where they were made. If you use an ATM in surulere, your SMS alert indicates. So, if there was a 2k withdrawal, tell thier customer care to tell you where it was made. Abi. If they said there was a withdrawal, they should state where and when.

Stop speaking Spanish Oga, im sure ur bank is bigger dan 2k, think properly. Moreover statement of account will tell u who, how and when the money was withdrawn. Make ur research very well, don't be a clown.

Probably ur account had gone dormant, just reactivate ur accoint and u will have access to ur money. Ve same problem with first bank, dey keep sending me messages deducting from d money every month, truth is im not interested in dat account anymore so I just abandoned it

Everyone blabbing here does not know wat dey call a dispense error. It's possible u tried ur card on a POS or ATM and u got dat error message telling u of network downtime or Switch user inoperative...... U might get debited & u won't even know...
Tell d bank to do deir investigation & give u the feedback..... Better still, just call d customer care for assistance.... Den pls come back to dis same page to give us d testimony. U can't just tarnish someone's reputation openly den wen d issue get resolved u just sweep d feedback unda d carpet after u ve succeeded in giving people a false opinion about an Establishment.....

What do you mean? With his explanation you still doubt him? Stop decieving yourself, such practice is going on in Nigeria bank though many may not be able to ask. Former oceanic bank stole my 8k without explanation.
