Mr man you are talking NONSENSE! The treasury (that is where treasures are kept aka savings) are the External Reserve and Excess Crude Account/SWF. For Buhari to say "the treasury is empty" means he doesn't know jack.

The FG account is not a Savings Account and it is not meant to be. I don't like repeating myself! Whatever goes in there is used for statutory budgetary purpose. Your Amaechi lied that the ECA is depleting now you are saying that the FG can't just dip their hands. Who is saying that the FG can dip their hand as they like? Abeg no find hiding route. Whether the ECA is created by Obj or FG is not the argument here, the function of the Account is to SAVE for emergency. It is the second savings account after External Reserve.

Don't even try to ddigress because you have no clue! How much does the FG receive monthly? How much is the wage bill monthly? How much do they release to fund projects and pay contractors? How much goes to MDAs? Do Buhari or any sane person expect anybody to keep left over in the FG account when the money isn't enough to meet FG obligations in the first instance? When Buhari said he met an empty account he was referring to the account directly under his jurisdiction, account where money for the runnings of the FG programs are kept and drawn.


Surprisingly, both the Ex-minister and his Tanoids goons claimed there is up to $30b in excess crude account, sovereign wealth fund etc which are monies primarily saved for different purposes and the FG can not withdraw from those accounts without the consents of the other tiers of the government.

Yes, Mr President deserves some commendation on his recent feat. Mr President has been talking and campaigning since May 29 amid cheers by his supporters. We all should rise up and give President Muhammadu Buhari ovation. I will tell you why the President deserves such honor..

1. Mr President directionless?
Just yesterday (June 22) he ordered for the dismantling of Military check points nationwide. 24hrs later he reversed himself after the Governors "talked sense into him".

2. An Empty Treasury?
Same yesterday President Buhari met with Aso Rock's Press corps and informed them that the government of exPresident Jonathan left a "virtually empty" treasury. 4. Buhari to Recover Stolen Money...Really?
It was shocking to hear that Buhari has vowed to recover "stolen" wealth. The same Buhari that would rather withdraw the N21billion corruption charges against Timpre Sylva instead of forcing him to vomit it? Or the same Buhari that instead of pursuing the N15billion corruption case against Abdulaziz Nyako rewarded him with Senatorial seat? Or the Buhari that would rather fraternise with exGov Murtala Nyako instead of taking back the multibillions he stole from Adamawa state.

5. The DSS No Longer Relevant Under Mr President
The Department of State Security is statutory responsible for internal intelligence. No serious leader can afford to shut out his country's internal intelligence unit during security meeting especially at a time of insurgency. But our dear president has never deemed it fit to invite the DG of DSS to ANY security meeting since he came to power. How will the President understand the status of the intelligence gathered to properly strategise against the insurgents and overall security without the input of the nations internal intelligence agency?
