Pls mamas in d house....counting from LMP, I m 6 wks 4 days gone...For the past one week I have been having stomach pains esp my upper stomach above the navel on and off esp in the morning...some tyms it can last for 5 hours. Pls has anyone experienced such before?

Also i have been having brownish spotting discharge on and off for some days too...pls what can b d cause?
Went to c a doc today and she recommend I do high vagina swab to test for PID...but the lab tech said i should come back tomorrow.... I dont know if HVS is save for me?

Also have been feeling feverish and cant do much house chores now.

I am a few weeks from d day & I still throw up almost every day!! As I'm typing I'm sipping milk cos I can't live on antacids only for the kind of monster heartburn I have despite not having ulcer!!!

Let me stop ranting cos I'm always compensated with very cute non fussy babies.

I've never treated colic, eela,or hadthe kind of vigilante people talk about... If you didn't know there is a baby in my house you'd never guess cos cry cry nor dey our matter..

Same here.. The discharge is all day errday!! My munchkin has no chill, after sitting on my diaphragm & intenstines all day &l giving me federal level heartburn, by 1-3 AM without fail, its from tap dancing to full on pop lock & break dancing...

Despite the eye insulting ugliness of maternity clothes( never seen a cute free flowing one) my own reason for not buying maternity clothes despite just barely managing to come up with five outfit is cos I aint never ever ever doing this again!!!

I was already pass my due date and doctor has planned to induce me come Tuesday 23rd. I was so scared but kept praying and talking to my baby to cooperate. I woke up on Sunday 21st at midnight to wee and felt this sharp waist pain.
I kept going to wee frequently abd the pain was just there. when it was around 5:30 am I asked my sis to accompany me as I felt I need to take a walk.
As we walk around the contraction kept increasing and I take a rest at interval, when I realized the day was getting brighter we retired back home. Immediately I got home i took a shower and felt relieved. The contractions started becoming stronger and hubby had to time it and it was coming every 5minutes. I decided to leave for hospital around past 9am. Got to the hospital 9:20an and was taken to the delivery room immediately cos then the contractions were so strong.
Doctor came in almost immediately and did a vaginal examination. As he inserted his fingers my water ruptured and he was like madam u re fully dilated. There and then I felt the urge to push.
confusion now set in as the nurses were not even ready. One was trying to fix a line on my hand for drip while theb doctor was trying to wear his lab coat or something. All I was saying was doctor i want to push and his response was madam pls wait lets get ready and set, while my response was I am ready.
At about 9;45am I made a second push and my princess pooped out weighing 3.3kg without tear or cut, in less than 30minutes of getting to the hospital. one of the nurses was like 'na dis kain delivery I dey like especially when I dey for nite duty.
Everyone was like madam u really try but in all its God at work as He made me an example of the Hebrew women. my prayer all this while was God let me have my baby before my pains come as it is in isaiah 66:7 and God granted my request.
For all the bellefull mamas God will make it easy, short and painless. For all those waiting on God, He will answer you speedily. For the vigilanty He will strengthen us.

I am over 40weeks now and my doctor says my cervix hasn't even dilated at all...Hmmm, I have danced, I still had about 25minutes walk today, my doctor suggested nipple stimulation but the thing painful no be small. He has given me till Monday,that if I no show, na induction be that o and that if induction doesn't work, he is going to do CS. Before now, I don't mind the two options, but they scare the hell out of me now.. I don't know why. I wish my labor starts spontaneously before Monday.

My dear sister, we are in the same shoes o. My doctor did a membrane sweep today, I feel a lot of pressure in my pelvic area, I just pray that labour comes spontaneously. I kuku no mind the induction o, even though they say it's painful.

I did'nt do the whole spitting thing from day 1 till date and i am so thankful for that. However, i went through the whole throwing up, etc during my first 12 weeks. at a point, i was like 'kai.na who send me work i should have just heeded DH's advice and waited for one year'. imagine going from honeymoon phase to throwing up phase in less than 8weeks. my main 'vexation' is my nose. it has tripled in size. no jokes Have you got any tips on how I can reduce it?

I have also suffered heartburn but i discovered that sucking on 'trebor' really relieves me. so now i wake up at odd hours and suck on trebor mints and i get almost instant relief. You should try it.

Increase d fesolate to one 3x a day. Good a thing u re eating better.
