Can you rank/rate your feeds used so far?

For me, I've used durante, multi and aqua.
Durante is better than aqua which is better than multi.
In my nex breeding, i will stick to aqua cos its cheap and good compared to others.
Durante here is 5600 for 15kg, multi 5000, the aqua I bought is 4600. I don't know if the aqua is that cheap cos of where it was bought. My neighbour and colleague helped me buy it at ihiala. My fish eat the aqua as they eat durante.

My fish will be 4months by month end. I may sell when they finish this bag of feed or may add extra 1month for them.

On going to feed them I saw a fish had jump out from the pond and travelled a long distance. On sighting th fish, I tot it was dead. I brought a basin and it started moving, it resisted entering the basin. Somehow, I picked it, put it in d pond and changed the pond water. I was so so scared.

My neighbour said am lucky it did not enter d drainage, that from the drainage, it will find its way to river Niger. 4months fish that I plan to sell anytime soon. I was wondering if others have been jumping out b4 now and being eaten by rats, cats and bush babies.

Does bush baby really exist? The more they grow the more they can jumpbout of a pond if it's not secured.

how many are your fishes? if not so much you can count them to know if some had jumped out.
if them neva weigh well you can wait till they are 5months.

Good pm too you all. Sorry I didn't come back too give the house feedback about the problem I experienced sometime ago. I have been a bit busy. Two things I have learnt over the years in hatching is that their is no pro and farm practise differs as a result of your ph, hardness, turbidity, etc, so what works in farm A might not work in farm B. I so much appreciate those that replied my post cos I was able 2 apply it in my hatchery even if that wasn no rily the problem. Thank God I'm back fully and hatching has commenced on a large scale now.
I will be coming back to give the house how he problem started, how I was able 2 overcome and other useful tip that might b helpful to those that still experience mortality in the second week after hatching. Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division is allowed.

Wow wow wow....came across this page around 6pm todau. I got glued and I'm currently at page 16....bt d 167pages I'm seeing looks herculean to finish in one nite oo...I must confess d thread is an eye opener tho.

Anyway, I'm a graduate currently managing a vrry small unrelated job. I'm not complaining, cos I knw some persons dnt have where to call their work place. However I really want to START Ssomething, no matter how small, and I made up my mind to dust my catfish lectures n nysc cert to see what I can get from this.

So pls for someone with roughly 100k savings, a pumping machine, and a room I'm ready to share with a fish vat, hw can I start, where do I start from?

in hindsight:
I started my romance with cfish rearing as far back 2004, attended up to 4 seminars with practical hatching sessions in about 2, got a cert. for this also during my nysc. Thia thread will make it 5 Seminars now. lol

As for passion.....forget me o....I can just spend hours watching fishes swim gracefully. Mayb its not passion bt obsession. Whichever.
