Those fools doesn't want to reach a compromise. As long as someone is perceived as a betrayer. Nothing he can do. The only thing he can do is to impose a leadership and what if they refuses? It won't go down well. More chaos

vfactor:

Maybe he's forgetting one thing: that he needs the legislature on order to carry out his campaign promises. Now when they spend time fight over house leadership and positions, will they have time to pass bills, screen ministers and carry out other functions to aid his administration? If he keeps waiting for them to ask him before him intervenes, as much as 3-6months may pass before his government starts functioning.

Intervening doesn't mean he decides who holds what position, but helping them reach a compromise.

The rate at which this crisis is going... Buhari might end up not achieving what he promised Nigerians.

It doesn't just take good intentions to rule, your house also has to be in order. Even GEJ had good intentions for Nigerians when he took up the mantle.

Bros no mind all of them they know wat is going on. all these is jus to clip tinubu's wings and make sure his chosen principal officers doesn't surface, that's why PMB doesn't want to middle into the affair until d aim is achieved. So they rather get wat they want tru any means possible, even if it involve hiring boko Bois to com throw bomb dia no wahala. the end will justify d means.

And where is Saraki and Dogora's confidence coming from.

Buhari might be behind the whole game, to cripple Tinubu machinery.
And then destroy his presidency before 4 years.. I doubt if Buhari will be able to achieve any tangible thing if things continue like this as the aggrieved party may just go for the spoiler.

The deputy senate president tweeted that they're not meeting again(virtually lol) until Buhari submits ministerial list. I'm contemplating not going to work again too. Did they hear there will be fuel scarcity in 3weeks?

A man's word is his bond. Nigerians are so used to impunity that they squeal at the slightest glimmer of order or rule of law.

The legislature was designed to be independent of the executive... If baba decides to intervene, it's only out of his magnanimity and love for his party.
Thank you sensible man!

PMB is a very smart leader and you can't take that away from him. He doesn't want to offend the masses. He is putting the NASS on the edge so that Nigerians will know that It is actually that brothers and sisters are the cause of Nigeria problem. He wasn't the one voted for those miscreants into being lawmakers. If you know you voted for any of them, call them to order. Nigerians voted for me.

Hence I belong to everybody and Nobody statement.

SOLUTION IS: Close down the senate. Nigerians will be okay with a unicameral house of representatives alone because it is more representative and nearer to the grassroots than the senate.

So how will showing us that our national assembly is our problem solve the issue with our economy, corruption, power, employment and other basic amenities?

We could wait 4years to finally get to know that the NASS is our problem, then what?

He wasn't voted to tell us what our problem is, he was voted to fix it and fix it fast!

I've been thinking of this lately, Buhari n some Northern bigwigs might have a know about all this imbroglio in the National Assembly all because of one man. Tinubu.
Tinubu self should have trod softly tete. He shouldn't have pushed it too far.

The presidential spoke man could av giving us more insight on what was actually left in the vault rather than referring us to former minister, they are now at the helms of affairs, we don't want vague statements, we want to match words with figures, just like the former minster said.

It is only a daft that will not know that Buhari knows and supports all that is happening in the Senate and the house of rep. The delay in appointing ministers and advisers is because the National Assembly coup has to be accomplished first.
