okoval2: First, STOP giving her expectorant please. It is not recommended at that age. Vitamin C is okay, but really should be getting it from food/drinks not as a supplement though. Second, is she still coughing? Can you describe cough? Is it short bursts, deep cough, a whooping sound? barking? Is she Feeding, peeing and pooping normally? Any fever? Sluggish or normally active child? Runny nose? coughing up anything? Vomitting anything. 3rd: did she have normal vaginally birth? medical history? Immunizations up to date? sick contacts around her? There are many things that it could be. Make sure she is not choking on something thou? or food allergies or asthma or reflux (infants can get reflux, in this case, feed light and soft food and make sure she is sitting upright during and after eating. Then, take her to a pediatrician, and get viral panels, pertussis (whooping cough). In the mean time, monitor her, give her nothing other than food, drink. If she develops any symptoms above, seek immediate medical care. When does the cough come about? |

MunAKeyzZ: Need to keep checking it. Get an actual number of level so you can tract how much it is (or not) going down. Not just pregnancy test. The test will remain positive for as long as HCG is still in her system. |

CreamyBee: I am not too familiar with combination 3. IT shouldn't affect pregnancy. Oral contraceptives work primarily by inhibiting ovulation. So, not likely that you will ovulate. If you want to get pregnancy, you have to stop taking the pills for some time. good luck |

gregkuika: Without surgical procedure? Hm...all I can say is eat fiber foods, drink more water, and eat less red meat and fatty foods. |

MOREN406: Besides being short, are there any noticeable physical defects or deficits that you can pinpoint or?? IS short in the pedigree (family tree)? If not genetic, then perhaps she can get screened for thyroid hormone. Please, don't take any drugs until you have investigated and discovered why she is not gaining weight. Has she tried eating well balanced diet too? |

Re: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by Nobody: 10:33pm On Jun 25, 2015 |
MOREN406: What are her defects? What is she eating exactly? She needs to find a doc and get an evaluation. Is she menstruating? |

Re: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by Nobody: 10:48pm On Jun 25, 2015 |
Yeah...go to your OB. First, check fetus. Then, get an STD check, then get liver function tests, kidney function tests. Ultrasound fetus. Good luck. kingchi32: |
Re: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by Nobody: 10:51pm On Jun 25, 2015 |
MOREN406: She needs to eat more. What is she eating? I think she will pick up later, perhaps genetic. If she is menstruating, then she has enough fat in her system....meaning, this is most likely genetically small. Leave her be in the mean time unless she is taking ill appearing or sick. Just feed her well |

Re: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by Nobody: 5:38am On Jun 26, 2015 |
MOREN406: I doubt that is the problem. What is this underwear made of and why do you think it is the underpants that's hindering her growth? |
Re: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by Nobody: 5:39am On Jun 26, 2015 |
Jumybecks: It depends on what's causing it. There is viagra and the like, but really should try non drug options first. Good luck |
Re: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by Nobody: 5:44am On Jun 26, 2015 |
MunAKeyzZ: Definitely should not. So, she is self treating herself? Whitequinnine isn't even an appropriate abortifacient. I read in an article that this drug isn't very effective. There is a chance that this abortion is incomplete. You can take the chance and keep checking on your own, but I would suggest going to see a health professional about getting serum beta HCG level, ultrasound to check complete evacuation of fetus. There can be dire consequences of partial abortion and retained placental tissues. Good luck. |
Re: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by Nobody: 5:48am On Jun 26, 2015 |
eljanfortis: Sounds like it asthma. Do you have a doctor where you can get evaluated for asthma? You need an pro-ventolin inhaler and possibly inhaled steroid. I wish you well. |
