This is part of the change in the polity's. Things must get rough sometimes before you can get the results expected.
Alignment and realignment is taking place.

Under OBJ the lawmakers fought, they did a similar thing under GEJ infact they asked for his impeachment after jumping the fence last year, and were later rewarded for their ''gallantry''.
Now that there is change, they are still fighting even after being rewarded with the juicy legislative office for changing the GEJ ''clueless and currupt'' leadership. It seams to me now that GEJ was not the problem of our country afterall.

Am begging them to settle down to the serious business of legislation so that our president GMB and the new clueful and corrupt less leadership our nation can keep to their electoral promises inclusive N5,000.00 to every one of our old parents at the end of this month-in FOUR DAYS TIME.

It's very pathetic to see these leaders fight messy, they have led them selves astray due to selfishness.
They just wasted the hell of our people's time during voting.

Its only God we need to come to our aid not these barbarians

Nigerians were so busy with believing and selling propaganda for the presidency to actually realise where the change was truly needed was in the Assembly house of self centred, greedy and shameless few who oversee every corrupt practice going on in the country but feign ignorance so long as their pockets are greased sufficiently but cry foul to the high heavens when they are left out of the sharing....

Rom 1:28-32
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

If these criminals in the National Assembly had any modicum of shame or decency they'd resign after ds monumental show of shame but no, they'll sit tight and proudly attach 'Honourable' to their names. Useless maggots only determined to bore their destructive ways into the Nigerian treasury!
But they were scaling fences a few months ago and you hailed them as 'protectors of democracy'.... What exactly has changed?

@ibisko04
its true things must go rough sometimes for change to come but have u asked yourself the reasons why lawmakers fight all the time?
Majority Leadership..... positions with benefit. i bet you if it was on economic reform or policies that will will benefit the average nigerian, these dudes cannot fight over it....many will remain mute or not support.
this is same wine in different bottle. SAME WINE will not change taste just because its in different bottle.

Guess this is why the lawmakers need exorbitant wardrobe allowances.. After disgracing themselves on Live Tv in a show of shame, these are the people the country relies on in making our laws...On Thursday, the lawmakers turned to lawbreakers.

The brawl deteriorated to the extent of clothes being torn in the process as depicted in the pictures...What a big shame...The legislators would take Nigeria to greater heights if they can channel their "Floyd-Mayweather's" skills to doing productive things.

No wonder they are asking for wardrobe allowance in advance. That we must deny them as a way of stopping fighting and dress tearing in our Assembly.

What a Shame. Our Lawmakers should be paid part time. Merge the two houses to one and pay them par seating. It should be made unattractive. There is a great disconnect between the lawmakers and the masses. These guys should be called to order. They must be made accountable to the masses. No more fooling around. Overpaid lot.

Exactly!. People are seeing it @ d shallow level. Looking deep. This is a really good thing. Let them disagree to agree. Lawmakers Fighting is not a new thing. Lawmakers fight all over the world. And the reason 4 the fight is not that bad.

If they were fighting for the good of the common man on the street, I would have somehow agreed with you but what exactly were they fighting for?...positions and their pockets...Look deep

Lawmakers fight all over the world according to you but must we copy only the bad things happening "all over the world"? If we must copy, then lets copy the following: good road network, working modern rail system, constant power supply, working health care system, quality educational system etc

Mr President has shown it to the whole world now that he can do without the input of National Assembly by appointing a substantive Accountant General for the Federation without sending his name to National Assembly for confirmation, let them continue to be fighting themselves, they will fight till the end of their tenure, a stray Dog will not listen to the whistle of his owner, because it is obvious that Bukola Dogara has chosen to be a stray dog
