muzzol:...To buttress your point and to add to the OP's chagrin,Is there any other Poliitician in APC,that PDP direct their hatred campagns too most during electioneering apart from PMB other than Tinubu? Saraki's name and his sheep-ish cohorts are no where to be found because PDP saw them as light-weight politician that can pose any threat to them. 3 Likes |

redsconsult: 16years impunity of PDP!!! Whenever I hear this statement usually from APC folks I cannot but laugh. Can you please explain impunity relating it with PDP 16years rule and tinubu's 16years rule in Lagos. A critical example is your ironic expression. The reason why Nigeria remain where she is today remain the fact that we play opposition politics of interest rather than constructism. We play a politics where we trigger violence to get power, connive with oil marketers to gain to control, destroy pipelines so that we remain stagnant, blackmail our country internationally so that we gain favour, sabotage our military so that we have say etc the combination of the opposition of the said 16years is why we remain where we are and you are happy about it. Whenever, power stabilize to some extent or GEJ government claimed that power has risen to 5000MW, that is when pipelines will be destroyed while power drops to 1500Mw and we are happy we are playing opposition! The compilation of the destructive opposition is what buhari is carrying as a burden and if care is not taken, such destructive criticism will continue. The problem in Nigeria is the compilation of PDP and APC ideologies. Get that point 1 Like |

redsconsult: This right here is the reason the North is hell bent on cutting Tinubu to size.Check ur stats in the previous election CPC floated by Buhari got over a million votes frm the northern states..he repeated it this last election n the wide vote margins from the North won the election..the whole margin frm the southwest was covered jus by the Pdp votes frm Enugu..so do ur maths and stop blowing his trumpet so hard..its affecting how people see him and the North might just restrict his political influence to just Burdillon 2 Likes |

It's truly baffling when I see CLOWNS here celebrate godfatherism. The same godfatherism that gave us the likes of Aregberascal the he-goat and co. After y'all scream that "Nigeria isn't working!!". Pathetic. 1 Like |

muzzol: Thank you my brother. The op is confused and hence could not understand the difference between local and regional champion.Does Saraki command the same respect in the north central as Tinubu in the south west? What most of you dont understand is that there are many people with same ambition fighting Tinubu in this case - Saraki, Atiku, Tambuwal and possibly kwanwaso. They all have the ambition of becoming the president comes 2019. At the end of the day Tinubu would emerge the winner, if the power couldn't be returned back to the south, Tinubu would prefer someone like el-rufai and at the end of the day they all lost. But i still give to Tinubu here because despite the combined forces his preferred candidates still emerged as the APC candidates, only for the combined forces to team up with PDP which Tinubu does not have power over. Most people are irritated with the man's achievements in politics, but i believe he is far better than the likes of Saraki and Atiku. They are all selfish but Tinubu does put general interest above his own interest - one could conclude from the APC primary. Even if he wouldnt have won the primary, he would have preferred a northern who he can control he definitely knew that he can't control Buhari. Can the same be said of Saraki and Atiku. Also, the op didnt compare them in terms of whom they control. Tinubu control about four governors and the V.P, while Saraki control just one governor. Take it or leave it Tinubu is the most intelligent politician in Nigeria, he may not be the most influential but defintely not in the category of Saraki. 3 Likes 1 Share |

muzzol: The defeat of the PDP came as a result of the defection of the 5 state governors that was spearheaded by Saraki, if Saraki was not in that alliance it would have been a difficult one for the APC, its because of that influence that the APC got Kano and some other states in the North that are known as PDP states, so we should not forget that, and one of the problems this party has always had is the lack of internal democracy, we thought there was a change when they conducted a beautiful Primary election, but afterwards we are seeing different things and for those that want to take position with the Asiwaju group, what will you do if the Presidents wants to do something for the masses and the party says its not right ? our loyalty should be with the country not the party. Lets wait and have Saraki make a mistake or go against the populace then we can go for his head so far he has done well with the constitution of a panel to look into their salaries and allowances. |

Like most people have said, its a very big insult to compare tinubu with bukky (thats what they call him in kwara). Bukky started his political career in 2003 for crying out loud. And thats thanka to his dad, olusola saraki. Forget, bukky was a baby when tinubu was running things at the national level during d NADECO era . 1 Like |

kinibigdeal:thats the more reason why we say jonathan is clueless because he knew all this was going on and he cant use his power according to constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria to put a stop to it and jail any one found guilty, u were comparing tinubu adminsration to jonathan adminstration , i think u ve also forgotten so quick that the same pdp adminstration starved this same tinubu of funds for so many years still lagos still survive. he raised the igr of lagos to over 20 billion naira a month making lagos self sustaining. he created the model of lagos that fashola built on that we are now witnessing. he created a platform called apc that took away power from pdp. i think you should also ve asked jonathan or pdp their greatest fear during their adminstartion they will tell you its the lion of burdilon chasing them everywhere they go. |

Even during the 2011 elections, the then kwara state ACN candidate, dele belgore was supposed to have won against bukky's candidate, abdulfatai ahmed.it was pdp 's machinery of rigging that brought him in. |

ayusco85:Saraki left PDP, because of his over ambitiousness. However, if he had stayed in PDP, he would still be a Senator. So, Tinubu didn't do him any favours. He owes him nothing! You may be right about him going against party principles though, but this won't be his first (nor last), and APC knew him before now. The gist is that Saraki has done his homework. He anticipated that plenty of senators wont be coming back, and that APC was the hottest 'track' in town, which would give him the perfect platform to 'steal the show'. It is working like magic, at least for now. |

One can't help but notice the slavish mentality of Nigerians, majority making bondage look so cool. Reading through this thread, you come away with the mental image of slaves in different camps trashing and tearing at each other to determine which of their slave masters is more obnoxiously exploitative. The question is, does it really matter which of these despicable characters is more influential in trading the people's interest for personal aggrandizement? |
