I think you should go ahead with the August appointment since it was scheduled successfully. Or, if you aren't busy on your June appointment date, you can sha visit the embassy o, let it be that turned you back that you are not scheduled for that day. Or you can call them to confirm.

Now plan change one of my brother taught of following him for the short trip...

My question is will my brother start a fresh visa processing or he can use my dad's visa advantage to get his own visa easily since his name is among the children on my dad visa document in the embassy?

I was turned back last week and asked to reschedule my appointment.

My friend got to the US via school. He did a change of status after he graduated. He schooled in New Jersey, and has been a PR for 6 years now. He has been working for 4 years (white collar job) and filling taxes as at when due.

Even a one day old baby has to start a fresh application. There is no such thing as 'visa advantage'. If there was, it would be between spouses and not between father and grown up hustling naija boy with red eye ( on a lighter note o! Ehe!)
So yes your brother has to go thru the whole 9 yards.

Btw all these people with visa esp the wicked 100dollar , I fit carry una bag o! Just pay for ma ticket, I go do nanny work, housegieh work all join! Lol

though the two categories B1/B2 are issued as one visa, conference falls under B1. it is possible to book appointment without completing the form as long as you have paid your visa fee. the relationship between both shouldn't be a problem. just fill in other if the host isn't a relative or friend

The system issue is world wide but it has been resolved now,i just got an email this evening that my passport is ready for pick up since june 9 i had interview.Best of luck.
