And here in Nigeria the politics is centered not on strategic thinking and implementation but on regional supremacy, vindictiveness and stiffling of competition. Ethiopia's population was once starving and the country lagged behind in all indices. All due to the fact she was practicing Nigeria's form of forceful unitary government. Everything changed for the better when Eritrea broke away and made Ethiopia become a landlocked country. Then Ethiopia sat down with the remaining of her constituent parts to negotiate a form of regional autonomy for all. The success of today is as a result of that landmark conference. Even as a landlocked country, she is setting the pace in infrastructural investment, FDIs and general economic growth in Africa today. This lesson of a news is supposed to make front page |

That country is a different class in sub-Saharan Africa. Ethiopians have done a whole lot of good for themselves with the little they've got. Nigeria's past leaders are Africa's biggest disgrace! |
