do you know the use of ram in a pc for anything?

so are u telling me that ur 2gb ram run games as smooth as 4gb with the same setup? you cannot be this ignorant. also my point still stands, officially you cannot run the game with less than 4gb. but sure sooner or later tweaks allow this limitations to be bypassed. everything wrks hand in hand in gaming....

gpu, cpu, ram, hdd in dat order. with a low amount of ram ur games will lag and ur pc will lag with it, ergo you won't be able to multitask becos ur ram needs to feed ur cpu which in turn feeds the gpu. But unlike what equado always says, ram upto some point is useless (law of diminishing returns) for gaming. I remember having to argue with him when i told him i use 6gb and am able to play two games at the same tym. the guy wouldn't believe me.

so when i say you are bottlenecking you cpu I meant interms of ram hogging games and multitasking.


Again i ask you, seeing as you have cod:aw, are you able to run the game?

you sir are a liar. i made no such claim that ram is the sole reason behind gaming. show me proof of when i said that. I'm more interested in the gpu side of things (direct x version, vram size, vram type etc) i have had a debate with equado on ram requirements.

I know for a fact that AW has a RAM requirement which I believe is 4GB so this seems somewhat unbelievable but another thing is AW has this optimization feature on PCs such that it adjusts to what your PC has.

true...but then it has a base requirement for the optimisation to actually take place. otherwise even 1gb ram should run the game.

I stick with a Gaming laptop +HDMI cause I've always been on the move.

This is the most confusing rig I have seen in a while. The CPU and and GPU are mobile so reflects a laptop, but the display is 50 inches so makes for a desktop, poster says his CPU has four cores(he actually said 4 CPUs but that's by the way).

Can anyone here help me out please? My DualShock 3 controller has refused to pair with my laptop's Bluetooth usb dongle. I have tried motionjoy, Better DS3, SCP, still nothing. I even bought another Bluetooth dongle, yet still nothing. Google doesn't seem to offer much help.

Although it works via usb cable.

err, The 50inch clearly serves as external display +HDMI
Just as d controller, mouse and keypad are all external devices.

-by the way, if u use DxDiag & to spool & export the systems spec. (LENOVO Y510p) as i did... (pls refer to the 1st s'shot)
I b'liv d reason is in line 2 of d 2nd s'shot... 2 logical cores per physical.

So I tot of getn 1 of these: http://www.steigerdynamics.com/products-couchmaster-features (s'shot1)... but it's currently out of stock and it'll prob. be quite expensive to ship cos' of its dimensions...

Windows 8 & 8.1 are completely flawed! Gosh i can't deal anymore. My pc just crashed for the 3rd time in 10 months. Lost everything! angry But luckily, i backed up everything on my external hdd. I'm going bak to windows 7 until windows 10 is released

The first time i was trying to connect to a BF4 server but my PC was a little slow so i thought i'd restart and the next thing it showed me was OS missing. Same thing today i was downloading a game on steam and then i shutdown and restarted a few hours later and next thing it was giving me blue screen errors. My roommate uses the exact same lappy and he's never crashed once so i dont know why my own case is so different. I dont know if downloading windows updates affects it coz i always download as soon as they are available

chai windows updat na like virus for mai system oo
once u enbale it
even if u no dey connected to internet it will still show dat some updates ar available.
beta install windows 8 with media center
load up .net 3.5 via command prompt

den turn off updates patapata

Truth b told all games might not yield a good fps rate.

bt i dont av any glitch on ingame play.
mostly get glitches on d intro itself and not d ingame.
