My android battery runs down too fast even if i don't press it. Imagine a situation where i left it at 100% only to see it at 61% on waking up the following morning. One thing i noticed is that the battery stays longer whenever 'whatsap app' carries the highest percentage of battery use. Now 'phone idle' and 'cell standby' are having the highest percentages even though am still using the whatsapp. I will be glad if anybody can help me out on this

Phone temperature increases generally when you put your phone on 3g and this reduces the battery life.
Download DU battery it will notify of high processor temperature

That's the way it was built. A7 does same.

You can stop it by Rooting it but it could bring more harm than good

Please I need your help, i root my techno pad N9 and I restore it back to factory setting, since then whenever I switch it on it will pop up a message that "sales track is missing" and nothing will come up apart from that message. If you press OK 100 times it will still come up which make it impossible for me to use....

Install DU speed.. Open it and navigate to apk files. It will display the Uninstalled apps. You can take it from there.

Your ram is saturated.. That can cause the phone to freeze. You might need to uninstall the keyboard and reinstall as it might be corrupt.

The only way to confirm its not a hardware problem is to do a factory reset.

Install true caller and all your problems are solved

Virus can only attack the hardware not the software.

My guess is your having a sticky key.

For benefit of doubt do a backup and reset your phone

I own an 8 month old Techno G9 tablet phone. I use it to surf the internet a lot and often watch movies (a few times even porn). It was at a porn site I first got a warning that my browser had been infected by 5 viruses. was adviced to download a certain program to purge it but I didn't thinking it was just a trick to get me to download the main virus into my phone. Such alerts have popped up many times since saying my phone is slow and to download cleaner.
In the last two months I've been noticing the slowness clearly but now it has become a problem. Online registration for anything is trouble and the phone process thing too slow..
I have tried uninstalling all unimportant apps until the ram was half free but no improvement. I downloaded cheetah cleaner and did much cleaning but still no real improvement. I was using avast antivirus but it wasn't premium and my test period expired abt 3 months ago so the virus definition is out dated.
Pls what do I do to correct the slowness which is obviously the work of a virus or malware or worms....whatever they are I want them out and avast is useless for this. What is d best antivirus for my phone and how do I get it here in Lagos Nigeria because I can't pay dollars online but I can pay naira here.
I bought the phone from SLOT . do they have a maintaince section for this?
