yes and no . The yes part is that religion and ethnicity does play a very prominent role in our national politics since the amalgamation of this country . But the no is that the last election showed that when parties present acceptable candidates tribal and ethnic lines maybe narrowed. Gej would have won at least 3 states in the south west. The winning results of apc in many of the south west states are mainly rigged figures. But gej allowed it all for reasons best known to him and maybe for peaceful reasons. But you are very very correct both religion and ethnicity play major and vital roles in our politics.
