In the face of quagmire on Nairaland,I can only identify one root cause of our national woes.Tribalism!! We(Nigerians) are a cacophony of tribal singers! In a country with about 160 million people and more than 600 different ethnic groups,it has been impossible for us as a people to present a united front. Btw,why are other African countries which are as diverse as we are not half as obsessed with their diversity ? Tribalism stands in the way of national cohesion and consensus, creates a distraction away from serious national issues and often contributes to communal violence. #BigShame 3 Likes |

CSTR2: An average yorubad Bastard is a born coward. If u outsmart him or prosper more than him, as a coward He will b Wishing u evil so He can take over ur position. They rather Wish igbos leave lagos for them than huzzle n compete with igbos. That's yoruba for u. On another angle, I blame some igbos trying to b more Catholic than d Pope. U live with ppl that always plan to burn ur market when u travel for Yuletide or demolish ur shops Yet u r not thinking home. Think home philosophy crash courses should b arranged for these guys. Enof of putting all eggs understand one basket. Guys start diverting ur business to east, they will pay transport to look for u. Go to onitsha on daily basis u see convoy of 505 peugeot wagons conveying goods bought at onutsha to north. 1 Like 1 Share |
