Of course,I can only pray for the fellow who is or will be your spouse looking through your lines.

Can't people be champions of gender respectfulness without bile? Have our extreme gong hitting created brighter days for our relationships?

Nigeria need youths who are enlightened enough to be clear thinkers.

When I was 16 there were some decisions that my Dad made that I wanted him to die for it - But today I look back and I can see that I was being buoyed up juvenile delinquency and youthful exuberance that's your case Victoria and not by any conviction of a belief system or as a result of being oppressed by the opposite gender.

You're just a wannabe - Once you get a good diicking ,you'll change ya song. grin grin

Na joke I dey o grin grin grin

Point blank all she needs is a good dicking. These ladies dont really want equal treatment, all they want is to be praised like gods when ever they do something, so all they want is for all men to become sissies.
I am sure once they are being treated as equal, they are the same ones that will scream treat me like a woman. if I have to treat you as equal then there's no need for male folks treating women like queens, since we are all kings.

Most of those points are not based on familial ethics but rather not on societal ones. In this case, no other but the Nigerian society.
Therefore; pointing out something that happens specifically within families and not the society at large doesn't count.

*It's Only in Nigeria that's it is a crime for a woman
to have a car and not have a husband.
*When you are a Nigerian lady and you are still
single at 30years, pastors will start casting out the
spirit of anti-marriage from you.
*For a Nigeria woman, after school you must have
two certificates.
University certificate and your marriage certificate.
*"Don't you know how to drive, see how you are
driving like a woman"
*Every pretty light skinned girl is an ogbange
*Every single girl that dresses fine and has money is

I am a male and I understand the point these women are making.

*A female boss controls her male subordinate and he declines, they hail the guy and say she's rude and uncouth.
A male boss does the same to a female, and she declines, they give 20reasons why Nigerian women are rude, uncouth and uncultured.

*A male strives to be successful and he's hailed whether the money is legitimate or illegitimate.
When a female makes a legitimate, she must be runs girl et al.

*A guy sleeps with many women and he still opens mouth to curse females that he probably has slept with.

Bunch of bitter, depressed and frustrated men with forlorn childhood hailed by some of their female masochists.

the length at which some sissy males would go in order to impress women is quite repugnant.

#beingmaleinnaija
When you are in bus with women and the engine stops and it requires the bus to be pushed the ladies in the bus will just fold hands and watch the guys do the pushing

When a female gets angry and hits you, dare not raise your hand cos she's a lady,

When you treat them equal, they are the ones' that will shout please kill that snake, don't you know am a woman grin

I am always pleased when I read young women like you saying the truth and not being sentimental or following the bandwagon just to feel cool and among.

If a woman respect herself and knows her boundaries,it is easy to avoid miscreants your way.

Honestly, I used to be so hot-headed about these issues when I was younger, like when my aunt would berate me for not enjoying staying in the kitchen 'because I'm a girl' until I stopped to think..so what? Who cares about the few ignorant statements some people make?

If you live in modern educated society, women have the same rights as men. You can hold public office, vote, drive, get married, divorce etc. Of course, male and female privilege and other double standards will continue to exist, millions of years of evolution and societal conditioning make sure of that.

Fewer women than men are interested in STEM courses, starting their own companies or running for higher political posts, it's a self-imposed handicap. You can't sit on your butt demanding 'change' when it's well within your power and rights to do anything you want.

I am sure the mothers of these females will disagree with them. A vocal few are pontificating as speakers of a happy and fulfilled majority. Nonsense!

They can go and live anywhere in the whole wide world,if they so hate the Naija culture of male and female relationships.

Most men work hard, provide for their wives and die as slaves to the care concept of marriage. How many of them are complaining?

Ours sisters must get real and stop reading too many soft magazines in the West and cease watching reality shows of jobless women in the US and the UK.

We are Africans. We are conservative;yet we love and respect our women. Of course, most of them are happy with us!

I am not a feminist and i will never be by God's grace but with this post and so many other posts i've seen from other males, i understand why being a female in Nigeria can be horrid.

You talk anyhow and with so much disrespect for your women regardless of who gets hit? You are a heartless creature and staying away from Nigerian women will do our psychs a favour. We are tired of men like you who play the victim game almost all the time (this forum is a witness) and raise your eyebrows of scorn when we express dissatisfaction once in a blue moon?

How many "runs girls" have time for social media? I've been with some of them, and most times the highest they do are chats and that's it. Ok my experience isnt enough proof, but people who are guilty, most of the time do not speak up when their evils are exposed.

Well just another nonsense am tired of.

Why are you so worked up if you're not a runs girl? undecided The statement I made wasn't even a blanket statement but you took it personal and vented your anger on me for expressing what is happening today in this country just the way it is.

I do not play any kind of victim game with any lady I come across - I simply put them where they belong because somebody must be in charge here and if you think you can run the shows and you've proved it ,then I will accord you your fuccking respect and follow your lead but you don't expect me to be physically and emotionally more balanced than you are and still want to share the same glory by asking me to reduce myself to enable us become equals with nothing to contribute.Listen I respect women when they quietly put themselves in their right place but won't hesitate to play that cultural card that is systemic and trust me I will always win.

Don't come running like a mad dog at me next time ,because I won't be this lenient with words - You can talk to me without painting me like a beast.

The thing you mentioned here are really not serious

I was expecting you to put concrete points that are worth reading like

Difference in male and female salaries on average

Difficulty for women to climb up the ladder in corporate firms (they have to do twice as much to prove themselves)

Horrible traditions like a woman drinking the water used to wash the body of her dead husband, to prove she's not the killer if she survives

Women being forced into marriages and being maltreated
And stuff like that

What you posted are just everyday stereotypes
Even men suffer such stereotypes too

@bold, Those are the lies that make them sleep well at night. With the multitude of working Nigerian women, they will still come online and lie about being depended on.

Even the ones that can't support themselves are 'providers' online. Mtchew.
Begonia:

Seriously, I have a problem with this. I constantly read comments about Nigerian women being dependent and all. My mum was never dependent on my dad and I don't know any Nigerian woman that depends on a man as her source of livelihood... I'm not saying they aren't there. In Nigeria, there are some jobs that are predominantly done by females. From the elementary school teachers to the counsellors to the tailors, hair stylists, cashiers, receptionists, librarians, bankers, nurses etc. Yet you guys keep going on and on about this. It's only on this forum where virtually all Nigerian women depend on the men and all Nigerian men are capable of taking care of their women and by extension, family.
Does propagating this falsehood make you guys feel good?

I agree mehn, they are just too deep in their delusions of playing victim that they don't realise that being feminine is actually a blessing. I once said women can actually rule the world if they know the capability of their power, but its obvious since creation they still dont understand themselves, so they chose to lash out on the males.

If anyone doesn't know she has a choice, such a person sure deserves nursing in a m-clinic than rant rubbish on public fora.

And if it is people like you who are educating them on their choice power, then we will pray for than pity them.

People allow emotions to dictate their choices and come out mourning when the consequences greet them.

Life is a journey of deals; if you get a wrong one it's your cup of agonies!

We just won't accept than a bunch of immature, grumpy and irritant minds who think marriage is a cake-party than a life of love and responsibilities are doing our cherished wives and sisters justice.

Definitely, one thing I have come to understood about some these ladies that wants men lying down while they slap our butts off on a per second billing is that most of them came from home where domestic violence was a big problem and to them every man represents an oppressor but they hide under feminist movement to mask their true nature.

I thank God , it doesn't take me more than an hour of talking to a lady to know that her mind is completely fuccked up when it comes to men. grin grin

Where other ladies see a real man, they will always see an oppressor and now with feminism can stay there and vent their frustrations. grin
