Good Evening Great people. Straight to the point. My company was awarded a contract running into Millions. We have only done one job in 2013 until the award of this contract in June 2015. We have paid supplier from UK for supply of the Engineering equipment for a federal University in Nigeria. I intend to visit the Company in UK for a pre-visit inspection before arrival of equipments. What documents will be required? Before payment was released for the supply, we have just 20k in the coy's account, but millions was deposited today. Hope this is not seen as a lump sum deposit? In my personal current account, I have only 500k balance. To all the gurus. Your advise on what to do will be appreciated. |

Hello house, pls I need some clarification. Hubby and I r applying 4 uk visa....Some parts of d form r confusing me. Pls clarify. Am paying 500k....he's paying 800k pls help answer this question correctly 1) what is d cost personally 2u 4 this trip: 500k 2) what is the total amount of money u have for this trip in GBP: ( am not sure how to answer) 3) is some one else other than u paying 4 this trip: Yes hubby 4 ) how much are they paying: 800k 5) why are they paying (am not sure how to answer ) 6 ) what is the total amount in GBP (am not sure how to answer) My confusion is btw no 2 quest n no 6 question. Also for the cost of accomodation the hotel we got is 250k.... am I supposed to write this amount in my form and his or split it in half in both forms? Also living expense of 100k......shld I write 100k in my form m his or split it in half for both of us. Is it true that the vi appointments r usually far away? I want to submit today n travel on the 17th July. .. what's d best way to make sure we get our passport b4 dat travel date? Also there's a part in d form where u have to put ur dependants....we r travelling with our daughter but she has a US passport so no need 4 visa... the confusion here is there's a quest that says 'country deported from' I don't know how to answer this since she 2 as nt deported from any where and it's a compulsory field to fill |

classichique: Your daughter needs an ETA/ESTA approval which you will do online and pay a small token.american passport does not give a sacrosanct entry.Be ready for questions at the port of entry.the esta approval will be gotten in like 2days. |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by justwise(m): 1:32pm On Jul 02, 2015 |
maddock: Not difficult, just the same way you went about your own application but you need to attach photocopy of your 6 months visa and evidence of available finance for the trip |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by justwise(m): 1:35pm On Jul 02, 2015 |
mykeloops: If the money is in your name and enough for your fees and maintenance money then you will be fine. With student visa application your source of income matters very little. |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by justwise(m): 2:03pm On Jul 02, 2015 |
classichique: To make things easier for yourself use oanda website to convert all the money you have for the trip and answer all money related questions in £. 1. Make a budget of the trip(you need to outline it in the form or use extra paper) flight, accommodation, feeding, traveling within the UK etc...the total cost is the answer to that question in £s. 2. If you have £2000 in your bank account and the trip will cost you £1000 then the answer to this question is £2000, if you don't make a budget and state it in the form the ECO will assumed that you will be spending the whole £2000 for the trip. 3. You answered that already. 4. You answered that as well. 5. Because he is your hubby. 6. Answered that already. Yes write the amount in the form don't slipt it. Yes you need to put your daughter's name because the cost of the trip will include her. If you haven't deported from any country the select no or N/A 1 Like |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by justwise(m): 2:05pm On Jul 02, 2015 |
kunle16: I think you can only apply for that from the UK |
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by justwise(m): 2:06pm On Jul 02, 2015 |
FrontPageLawyer: Ok, but if you don't have enough in your account at the moment how will you afford the trip? That maybe an issue |
