1. My decision to start the thread was because of the unemployed individuals and the number of persons at interviews that I have attended.
2. It was an exciting time with young minds.

Please if you really want to be employed by any good school, you must work hard on your communication skills. Teaching is about effective communication. Where an applicant cannot communicate very well in the language of instruction, neither teaching nor learning can take place. I interviewed 3 candidates today and I feel so disappointed at the inability of these supposed graduated to communicate their thoughts effectively to a class of JS 1 students. Poor spellings, bad pronunciation, mixing Yoruba expressions with English and bad tenses characterized the presentations. I weep for this country.
Weeping is not enough...it is OK to make mistake but refusing to learn from your mistake is an error.@avicky identified communication as a very important skill set in the teaching profession.
Thank you for your observation, am sure they are reading. We learn, share, correct and grow.

I think seeking for admission now is late but you can Go to Ayedere junior high school, kosofe to find out if it is still possible. The form is 2350 if it hasn't change. For more information go to the NTI center at the school.
